From the moment HangDog Outdoor Adventure opened its doors, it’s become a staple in our family’s life—and we truly can’t say enough great things about it.
We’ve been loyal visitors since day one and have never had a bad experience. Even in a moment that could’ve turned scary—when our youngest daughter fainted one hot day from heat and dehydration—the staff acted with incredible care and professionalism. A retired EMT/firefighter was right there on-site, immediately assisted her and brought her into the cool office to recover. That level of compassion meant the world to us as parents.
Despite that moment, she couldn’t wait to return this season. Now nine years old, she just completed eight full rounds on the course for fun—simply because she loves it that much. That says everything about how safe, welcoming, and empowering HangDog truly is for children.
But what’s meant even more to us is the growth we’ve seen in our oldest daughter, who has a severe anxiety disorder. HangDog has given her a space where she feels confident and free. She has now professionally completed the entire adventure course—from the very top, all the way through the zip line and the high jump. Recently, she proudly guided three girls (all 8–9 years older than her!) through their first experience at the park. Watching her take on that “little teacher” role, full of joy and pride, was nothing short of amazing. That moment alone brought tears to our eyes.
HangDog is more than just a ropes course—it’s become a place of healing, growth and community for our family. The owners now know us by name, and chatting with them feels like visiting friends. Between the sunset views, a cozy campfire, yard games and safe, open space for the kids to run free, it’s a place we all look forward to.
Even the food is its own adventure. The brick oven-style pizza and their signature seasoned chicken are HangDog originals—you won’t find that flavor anywhere else. The on-site brewery offers handcrafted beers, and the overall vibe—with outdoor TVs and relaxed backyard energy—makes it feel like you’re hanging out at a friend’s cookout.
HangDog is a rare gem. It’s where our daughters have laughed, conquered fears and built confidence. It’s where we’ve made memories that will last a lifetime. And that’s why we’ll keep...
Read moreI booked a party for 13 people and 20 minutes into our adventure we were told to get down due to weather! From that point on I was given the run around! I was told before leaving that day nobody on site could refund our party and I needed to speak to Carleen (the owner)! I was patient with the owner and the financial manager. Giving them over a week to work out options for reimbursements of over $600. I had no issue giving them time to handle the situation since they claimed it was an IT error! After a week passed I still had not received reimbursement but had an invoice from Christine with a statement that did not reflect the balanced agreed to when the party was booked (we all paid in advance! So where did this balance come from?) on top of that, after leaving hangdog members of the party were overcharged on their cards and weren’t told why! When I reached out and spoke to Carleen and Christine again I was given nothing but attitude and was constantly interrupted by both of them while trying to speak/ask questions! I experienced horrible communication skills between staff and disrespect! Originally, I was promised refunds for out of town guests and rain checks for locals but I guess once I started to find holes in their stories/payment requirements they changed their mind! At this point they refuse the refund both financial funds and rain checks! Please do not waste your...
Read moreThis place is awesome! My 5 year old had a great time in the lower kid section, my 10 year old had an incredible time. He was on the course for over 2 hours. I had to demand he come down because it was time to leave. He begged for 10 more minutes that turned into 45. The staff is very friendly and patient. When it gets dark, it is a whole new experience with all the creative lights.
There is a pretty long zip line that you have to independently come back from. This is not a newbie type of adventure. There were many teens and adults also spending lots of time on the course, this is defiantly not a child oriented place.
There is a great beer selection (they even have a custom brew), adult slushies, and lawn games in a large open space. There was live music and fire pits. Many people that were there were just hanging out enjoying the great location, drinks, and music. They didn't even enter the course. Admission to the area is FREE! This is a cool place to hang out and enjoy the outside. The pizza wasn't the best, they have a brick oven, hopefully they will refine their technique and recipe in the future. The fried chicken looked good, though I didn't try it. I highly...
