BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was excited to get an excellent facial today. I called the owner because the shop was hard to find. I noticed her somewhat rude manner on the phone. Okay, maybe she's stressed. I asked her to stay on the phone for a moment to tell her exactly where I was and said there was a McDonald's to my right. She told me that her shop was across the street. Well, I could only see a small house. That was not a great explanation at all. I would have stayed on the line until the customer found me. I drove straight ahead and had to stop briefly to look around the shops to see if I could read anything about cosmetics.

Then I discovered the salon. The letters on the window were barely visible. I had to look three times to find out that it was the salon. I parked and went in. She just said, "Hey, you made it," in a not-pleasant tone, as if I was too stupid to find her business. I'm really not that sensitive, but I sensed that something wasn't right.

I told her that maybe she should put a sign on the house or the street so that customers can find her more easily. She reacted rudely, saying, "I don't have any money for a sign." Well, a small sign on the street isn't expensive. From the beginning, a friendly smile like "Hey, how are you?“ Its nice too meet you, was missing, too. That would have been great. Then she went into the room that was being prepared for me, and I asked if there was a toilet. She only said „yes“. After a couple of seconds, I asked, "Where?" She replied, "Then you have to come here. It's around the corner." Also, in a tone that I didn't like, it seemed to me as if she didn't like me being there, for whatever reason.

I had to fill out a form, which I had done, and when I came out of the bathroom, she pointed at the paper and said, "You have to sign." In the same unpolite tone. My intuition just told me: GET OUT OF HERE !!

So, I'm German, and you always get professional service in my country. Since I've lived here, I have experienced not even excellent hairdressers in my area. Nobody is sufficiently informed about what to do—how to dye hair—a service that will make you look great as a woman on your head. I see the hair colors here. Most of them don't look great. There are no trained professionals here. Many go to school for a year and call themselves professionals.

Even with nails. When I read luxury nails, I just shake my head. The signs should all be thrown in the trash.

I was in the hospital three weeks ago and almost died of a pulmonary embolism. Honestly? The nurses were even friendlier than you. They were gold compared to you.

I wanted to be pampered today. After all that hospital crap. What I got? You know!

I can't wait to fly back to give myself the service I deserve as a human. I went to another salon once and they didn't even remove my mascara or clean my eyes? That was years ago.

I really had hope today. And once again it was the same disappointment. I stopped expecting anything here when it comes to hair, nails or cosmetics. But hope always dies last.

But there's always a reason for everything. Who knows what she would have done to my face? Maybe it would have worked well for the others. But probably not for mine. And be careful what you answer here. Don't blame others for your unfriendliness. Always point the finger at yourself first.

What about my refund? I haven't got...

If I can give 10 stars I would. I suffer from Cystic Acne/deep whiteheads and I have been searching for a good facial in NJ. I came to Kerri because her reviews were excellent, but she is so much more than just a regular esthetician. Kerri immediately made me feel comfortable about my skin, she did not judge me and make me feel bad like other estheticians in the past. She shared her own struggle with acne and how she was able to not only overcome it, but that she now knows how to handle people with my skin type from her very own experience. My 1st appt, she took her time and made sure to get all the deep whiteheads out, she treated my face with acne treatment, blue & red light and I felt absolutely amazing after. 4 days later all the redness went down and my skin felt great. I went in two weeks later and she got some other stubborn acne out and this time did the microdermabrasion treatment which removed SO MUCH dead skin, she showed me and I was shocked!! The nicest part of all, she knew I was going to Europe and she asked me to send her pics, she monitored my skin and noticed a mature pimple and told me to come in free of charge to make sure my face is calm before my trip. Keri is AMAZING! She has been an absolute lifesaver for me. I came to her 3 and 1/2 months ago with hundreds of cysts, whiteheads, blackheads, etc. I’ve struggled with acne for almost 20 years but it had gotten so bad after the birth of my third child. I had seen so many dermatologists thoughout the years and I saw little to no improvement.
