This year the entire display has been painstakingly refurbished. It is immaculate! Catch it while you can. It doesn’t stay out much later than Christmas day. No bathrooms. Free street parking. I grew up in the El Cerrito hills and one of our favorite Christmas traditions was to drive up to view Mr. Shadi’s display on the Arlington every year. The line was long but well worth it.

I’ve long since moved from the area, but intend to return this year.

I hope the new location is as wonderful as the original.
