A large grassy area which is frequented by local sport teams from Soccer to Baseball.
This is another area that is great for those that need a large track to walk/run on.
The bathroom is well maintained but be aware that you will need to purchase a key from the EC Community Center for $20. Last I've heard, they will return the $20 if you like to return the key. I'm guessing this is to discourage the migrating homeless population from using these spacious stalls as a makeshift sleeping area.
As for regular populations that frequent it, there are a few but it's usually only crowded during Saturday which most events take place. During the school year, students from Prospect Sierra will run around the track. During the summer, this is the grounds for the Sports camp.

Read moreVery nice open patkl with lots of space for any activity. This is where the city of El Cerrito hosts the 4th of July World One festival. Cerrito Vista Park has a small playground where kids can play, a tennis court and a picnic area with volleyball court and open space for other activities. There is direct access to the picnic area, which has a BBQ grill for cooking, from the playing field below.
