I am so grateful I found this Traditional Tridentine Latin Mass Church near me. I with everything happening in the world and to the church, I am glad I found this sacred safe space, so that I may grow closer to my Lord. It is so nice to see the men lead in this church, and the respect given to the most Blessed and Sacred Sacrament. Refreshing to see true traditions and people actually lining up for confession. I love this church. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a must see if you are ever in the area. The liturgy is beautiful. I am moved every time I go to mass. The services are incredible. The choir sounds like angels, and Father Gronenthal is amazing and truly is a holy man. The Sisters are amazing, true Saints here. They have a lovely bookstore that pretty much has everything you need and they also have some appropriate clothes for new comers if needed and blessed rosaries in the vestibule, holy water to fill your container, also have veils and missals to borrow. Please do not feel embarrassed or afraid to ask, the parishioners and clergy here are the most welcoming and are more than happy to help and are excited to see new faces, everyone here cares about helping save souls and doing something beautiful for our Lord. The rosary is said here before mass on Sunday's starts at around 8:20am for rosary, mass @9am weekends, and @8am weekdays. Holy hour every 1st Thursday of the month (7pm) and devotions to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart 1st Friday (8am) and 1st Saturday (9am) every month, and classes are held to learn the Latin mass and Missal ever 1st Thursday of the month, there is also catechism classes, see bulletin for times. There is stations of the cross both around the church and cemetery if you would like to make reparations anytime. I fell in love with my faith here, traditional Latin mass pre-Vatican II. Our Lady of Fatima...
Read moreI haven't been to this church, but I don't want to any longer. See, theres a term young people use by the name of "Cherypicking" cherry picking is basically taking a picture or a reference of something in a bad way, Novus Ordo Mass is a great Mass, so is Ad Orientem Mass, but comparing 2 ways of celebrating the liturgy, weird huh? All Mass has sacramental value, all rites as long as its celebrated by a priest who has been to the seminary for atleast 7 years. The way I see cherry picking in this is you take a bad picture of Novus Ordo, and take a good picture of Ad orientem, why? Novus ordo has sacramental value, its all a same Roman Catholic Church. I wonder how laypeople at latin mass feel if I cherry pick? This is called a liturgical abuse, and all of it has been reviewed and reported to a bishop of the diocese. I would also like to point out a abuse in the Extraordinary Form of Roman rite, see many churches either ran by priests in the FSSP or SSPX see a women without a chapel veil, and mistreat them, only due to the fact that she doesn't have a veil on, and the priests go on to deny communion to that woman? Thats weird because last I remembered the Church welcomes everyone and allows sacraments to be administered to everyone as long as they've been baptized. Also another abuse, ive recently read a story on a young woman who went to Latin Mass for a wedding, she was dressed unprepared without a veil and she was mistreated. The priest humiliated her at the step of the altar as she held her hand out to the priest for communion. I do believe receiving communion on the hand is bad, that we must receive it on the tounge but, we cannot ridicule or humiliate a creature of God just because for...
Read moreThe nuns are very kind it is also a big church it is a tlm church traditional Latin Mass the choir of the nuns is beautiful, it sounds like angels singing, especially when you received Holy Communion, you can't really understand the priest when he is saying the Holy Mass, but you could feel the holy Spirit touching you, it is a very beautiful experience, the nuns let us see all around the school. They even told us that they got donated a whole playground for their Catechism and and Catholic and Roman Catholic school. They have a whole school in that church, they have also the most Sacred Heart, the body of Jesus in the Chapel, it is covered with a veil so that nobody can see it, the church has a lot of stained glass, and when the nuns play, they also use electronic organ, it is very beautiful, I recommend this church 100 percent, sadly, I can't go anymore because someone at work told one of my family members that it is not a Roman Catholic church, but I don't believe them, I really want to go because they were really kind and I really miss hearing those chance and hearing the organ play, they had very soft bells, but you could hear them, they even had a belt in the Chapel to let the nuns know that...
