I’ve been going to this place every week for a while now, so it’s high time I leave a review.

If you are in the market for a smoke shop that treats regular customers like royalty, Holy Smokes on Elmora Ave is the spot you’ve been looking for. The staff here are all very friendly & helpful. They don’t mind taking a few minutes to answer your questions or give you a detailed breakdown about which products might be right for you. And they never try to “up-sell” you or get pushy like some of the other local smoke shops.

Their selection is incredible. If you’re looking for a particular brand or piece of hardware, chances are they’ve got it - and I’d they don’t, they’ll likely offer to order it for you. Delta 8 products, smoking accessories (bowls, Bongs, rolling papers, screens, etc etc etc), multiple strains of Kratom, even cool “culture” stuff (like crystal ashtrays and “Raw” branded backpacks). - the shop is small, but the selection is huge. Heck, I think they have almost a dozen sizes of cone rolling papers alone!

I was a first time customer of Holy Smokes in Elizabeth, NJ on Elmora Ave and was kind of nervous about getting anything of a herbal nature to deal with chronic pain from arthritis and fibromyalgia and pain pills aren't an option. Because I didn't know what to expect, I called ahead and asked if there was anything they had that would help me?, Yes we do!! When I walked in, I was blown away by their inventory and how welcoming the staff was, especially Jay. I explained why I was there and what I needed and the desired effects and without hesitation, Jay suggested that I tried Kratom powder, and this showed me how knowledgeable he was about the products they sell. And it wasn't about a sell because it was suggested to go with the smallest quantity they had and It was suggested that I wash it down with something that is citrus like orange juice to mask the taste of the powder but other options were given to me also. So I decided to buy sugar free lemonade and I mixed it with a teaspoon of Kratom powder and I was truly amazed at how fast it worked. It tastes like bitter lemons, something you would expect from sugar free lemonade and it worked like a charm. As soon as I was done with my drink, I could feel the pain melt away. I'm someone who deals with chronic pain 95% of the time and most days a walk to the kitchen has me bent over writhing in pain. If you’re looking for the best, you've come to the right place. Best smoke shop experience I’ve ever had! I was greeted as soon as I stepped through the door and immediately treated like a friend. Every member of staff that I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain the different products, their effects, etc. The team’s passion is palpable and they seem to know the products inside and out. Not only that, but when I explained that this was my first time buying a vape for myself (even though I’ve used them before), Alejandro in particular took the time to set my new purchase up for me and gave me a quick but really detailed tutorial. There’s a really inclusive and diverse vibe in this place that feels almost like a kickback with friends rather than one of those stores where no one makes eyes contact because they don’t want to be bothered.
