Spent the day today, 1/18/24, on Stoney Creek with Wes McCracken fishing for trout. Wes not only put me on fish, but he also taught me a lot about reading water and how to catch more fish. Wow! I got off trail from the AT around 4:30 pm and went to Boots Off Hostel and they recommended Hellbenders Outfitters! What a great tip. I needed a sleeping pad to finish thru-hiking and the owner helped me get the pad I needed and personally delivered it too!
