Bladen County Public Library — Attraction in Elizabethtown

We have been coming here for over 8 years and it's always been a welcoming environment. The kids area is our sweet spot. I love seeing my children play and enjoy themselves whether it's learning something new or growing and gaining new skills.

It's rather unfortunate that today we stopped by around 3 to waste an hr before we head back home we happen to encounter such a nasty attitude on one of the librarians. I didn't happen to catch her name but she was on the stout side and AA. Anyway , she got rather nasty with us saying we had to leave due to a scheduled event. Upon asking her what time it would be and when it would end she simply replied oh it'll be in an hour. I doubt we'll ever go back at this point. It's such a shame that people who are serving the community act as if they own...

#1. Nice clean bathrooms. (A little outdated but still functional.) #2. The library has been doing great at decorating for the different holidays. #3. The children's section is a wonderful spot for kids to feel at home; from tables and chairs to bean bags and a little teepee. #4. The outdoor patio is a great place to sit...

I haven't been to the Main Branch Library in quite awhile, but visited on Saturday morning. I needed some emails printed and Miranda was friendly and most helpful. She discovered that I was not high tech, but was so willing to help me...and even gave me a new library card. She is certainly an asset to the library! Ginger...
