My 1st time here and I thought it was great! The food had flavor. Didn't take long to come out, but I knew it was cooked to order. The price was EXCELLENT!!! They closed at 2pm and I got there at 1:30 worried the service would lack due to the time, but not at all. Some people even came after me. The other person in my party had a breakfast platter, grits, eggs, sausage, toast and enjoyed it. It was just 1 pork chop with 2 sides and it was just enough for brunch. They do not have a kids menu, but their prices are ao affordable they don't need one. I also liked the triangle presentation of the rice. It's a bistro style, I'd say....maybe enough for 50 patrons. Servers were nice and there was a tip jar for the cook, filled so that's a good thing. I do pay attention to sanitation scores and they have a 90.5, but I could not tell why from the lobby, all appeared clean to me. I also went to the bathroom and it too was clean. If you go here you will get good food. Next time I come I will try something different. I actually got the daily special and they have like 3 different specials for each day so that's a great selection in addition to the things on their menu. Like I said, great place you should certainly try and be sure to tip your waitress, because it is a smaller place and they deserve it!

This quaint Corner Cafe is a small town staple and local favorite! We ate breakfast here and found a cozy dinning environment with ample light and atmosphere. Southern Charm with some uptown features. Menu is traditional southern breakfast with eggs, grits, bacon, biscuits and gravy, ham, etc... everything was good and service was ok. They do serve a lunch special daily alongside a diner menu (aka:burgers and fries.) Parking can be tough, but a short walk will do most of us good!! Pricing is high for a small local diner. They will not alter pricing for special needs. I was told We would have to pay full price for half a plate of food, do to dietary restrictions. We were very displeased and no regard was made.

We stopped in during a busy Saturday lunch time. We had previously eaten breakfast here some years ago and had a good experience. Today was not as good. My wife had the hamburger steak with vegetables and I chose the pork chop sandwich and fries. The wife liked her food very much but my sandwich came with a bone in chop and fries that were very undercooked. No tea or water refill was offered. We waited a long time after our server cleared our table but she never returned with our bill. Another waitress asked if we had our check and corrected the issue when we told her we still waiting for it.

My husband and I were really looking forward to a good, home cooked breakfast. We were excited to order omelettes as these are our favorite things to eat while vacationing. We were quite disappointed with our omelettes to say the least. They were super thin as if they used the least amount of eggs to make them. Then what turned us off the most was the cheese they used inside the omelette. It was some liquid, spreadable horribly strong tasting cheese. It dominated the entire omelette, even though we worked hard to scrape as much of it away. Also, our waitress who took our order and delivered our food, never came back to ask us how everything was. She apparently ended her shift for the day without finishing up with her table (us). We did enjoy the home fries, but would steer away from their omelettes unless they switch to a more natural, shredded cheese that doesn't reek of imitation and dominate the rest of the...

The taste of the food and service here were good, I can’t complain about that. What I do have a complaint about though is how this location will literally nickel and dime you for the smallest of things. They up charged my husband because they had to put butter on the toast instead of us. Who charges for putting butter on toast? They also upcharged my burger because I requested onions on my burger. They charged us for two onions even though it was literally two slices of one onion. I understand increasing the price a bit if you order bacon or cheese on a burger but in all of our years of eating out, not once have I seen a restaurant charge you for onions. My husband also ordered some liver pudding and the portion size was the size of what a toddler could eat. We’re not coming back to this place because of their...
