Velma & Lester King Park — Attraction in Elk Grove

Took my granddaughter 2 1/2 old. She loved all of the play structures. The big slide was broken a friendly crew from CSD was there repairing it. Had a nice shade structure and big table with benches to rest at. Plenty of trees soccer field. Water fountains. Clean no trash. The park was named after old time Elk Grove residents who owned Kings Skate in the town...

Good sized but not much shade, most is just a big patch of grass. Also it's not even colored green on Google Maps for some reason, so it might be hard to spot if you're just browsing the area in Maps.

The place is not always clean. But has alot to do. I wish the play ground had more space. Not good for the neighbors because of soccer games can get loud. There is no parking spot had have to risk of possibly getting a ticket expecially on game day's. But great for walking...
