I stayed here twice and have been traveling a lot. Compared to other hotels (5 so far over the last two months), this ranks near the bottom for cleanliness (just the rooms) and the best for front desk service. The room was okay during the first stay, but housekeeping didn’t care to clean the high touch areas like the faucets or the remote control. The faucet in the kitchenette area was dirty from the previous guests and there was a coin on the countertop that I (purposely) left to see whether they even wipe down the counters at all. The answer is no; they did not because the coin remained in the same place the entire week. The photos are of my second stay where the toilet had hair all over it, the faucet was covered in dust and hair, the hairdryer had hair stuck in it, there was a thick layer of dust everywhere and the sheets on the second queen bed were dirty. If the hotel or housekeeping management wants to see the timestamps for the photos, I’m happy to text them to you. The pictures of the toilet and faucet were taken immediately after checking in and the rest were taken the next morning. After seeing all this, I decided to mark the sheet on the first queen bed and as you probably guessed, the sheets were never changed. I talked to the housekeeping supervisor who was very gracious but explained that they get half an hour per room (among other excuses). This is an epic fail because it isn't enough; the housekeeper clearly needs more time to do the job right. It's a shame because everything else about this hotel is great. Again, the front desk staff are amazing, the size of the rooms is great, and the amenities are very nice. I submitted a review for the first stay to the hotel’s internal records – the questionnaire they give you at checkout. And although I hate to affect the hardworking people that help make our lives easier, this time however, it was too much to ignore. Too bad.

So we have not stayed here in about 7 years... we have been going to other Hilton Properties but lets give it another try. The front desk during checkin was really friendly and helpful.  I felt truly welcomed. The lobby and common area were clean and organized. Sanitation station with wipes were well stocked and readily available. We got room 314, the room was pretty clean.  Even after our post arrival cleaning we did not find much dust.  The only problem was that bedside USB charger... the top has a sticky residue from degrading rubber (see photo). Strange it seems all but 2 of the pillows have a RFID tag in them so beware.and try not to sleep on it. Did not appreciate the 230AM fire alarm wake up call... It looks like there was an issue with the HVAC System on the roof and it triggered the fire alarm and we had to evacuate the hotel. Note you cannot sneak out of the room..the door is heavy and the lock system stiff...door will not close and secure quietly. I tried to sneak out at 6 to get breakfast and let the family sleep due to waking up to the fire alarm, but that was not possible with me trying to close the room door.. The gym was clean and well stocked.  2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 normal bike and 1 recumbent bike.  The equipment were in working condition.  The dumbbells' rack was stocked and all weights were present. Breakfast was really underwhelming... I think the cook might have still been evacuated from the fire alarm.  Tobacco and ketchup will not save this breakfast.  Processed eggs were cold, same with the potatoes.  The sausage patties were... no surprise cold too.  Everything was lacking flavor.... Thank goodness for hot coffee.

This hotel is roach infested! At midnight I noticed something tickling my ear. I look over and notice a roach on my pillow as you see in the picture posted. I go to the lobby and the gentleman working moves me to a different room. I was told to come speak to the accounting manager Tim who comes in at 7am. Next morning I go to speak to Tim regarding this situation and he offers to accommodate for 1 night and not charge for the room. I told him unfortunately it's not about the night, it's the fact that if my room is roach infested so will other rooms. He goes on to tell me that roaches have been found in their rooms before and this isn't the first case. He offers me $100 per night for the King Studio Suite for my stay. I said as well as that sounds, I would like for him to speak to his boss and see how we can accommodate for this issue for myself n future guest at this hotel. I was told I would get a call by noon. At 2pm, I call and speak to the person above Tim. He tells me can only accommodate for one night and the issue on hand is not as big of a deal as I am making it. If I would want to stay in the King Studio suite, I will have to pay the price. The person did not want to even pass me onto the General Manager because my issue was not "a big deal". Stay aware of this hotel because clearly the management team does not take responsibility for roaches in their hotel . I will be taking my business elsewhere for future stays.

This is our second time staying here. My 9 year old says this is one of his favorite places to stay. I do like the pet friendly atmosphere because we travel with ours so it’s super convenient. Our very first visit was great and that’s was what brought us back. It was quiet as expected & our room was clean, everything works. Also, other pet owners were respectful I didn’t hear barking or noises from our neighbors. Just doors but it’s expected it’s a hotel of course you will hear the environment around you. If you don’t want any noise then just stay home! lol some previous reviews & comments make me question humanity. Anyway, My son looks forward to breakfast & I look forward for the restaurant around. Super convenient love it. Now, Second visit which is today. We checked in last night around 10pm & we been on the road 13 hours. My husband check us in so I don’t know. I was not feeling well so I stayed in the car. I’m assuming it was good he didn’t say anything. We got into our room & OMG the room smelled like PEE it hit us hard when we opened the door lol. We were so exhausted from driving and our dog was like wtf is this smell and was going crazy sniffing every where. Until We found a pile of pee on the bathroom floor. It’s okay though I know better to always travel with cleaning supplies with kids and pets. And again, we are pet owners too we get it. We understand pets have accidents too & it was late we’re exhausted so we just cleaned it up my husband spray the room with his cologne. I know pets can have accidents on the carpet & it’s hard to clean but this room can definitely need attention to the carpet you can smell it. Needs to be aired out. Just saying not leaving a negative comment. The AC in the room we had this time was loud not quite like our first visit. At first I thought it was going to annoy me but again we’re exhausted so we just went to bed and didn’t seem to bother as much. The beds were clean and comfortable so that’s always a bonus for me. Overall, other then the room need to be aired out and have some fresh air coming through and the carpet steam cleaned so the pet stench is not so in your face lol. Or maybe it is just this room? Don’t know. But, Hampton inn is one of our place we will be staying when we are here visiting. It is not a bad place to rest with your furr babies & family. Hopefully this review is helpful for others...

We stayed @ 2305 Longport CT Elk Grove, Ca. room # 234/KXTD on 9/27/2022 This was the dirtiest Hampton Inn we have ever come a crossed. We are honor members. This was the first time that we have had a problem at a Hampton Inn. We were shocked by the room's lack of cleanliness. We were tired and just wanted to rest for the night after a long day. We ended up going to our car to get wipes to clean so that we would be comfortable. Below please find the list of issues we endured. Carpet in hallway leading to the room dirty and unvacuumed. Window in hallway looking outside had been slimed with who knows what. Floor in the bathroom sticky. Shower floor was dirty inside and out. We didn't shower because it was so gross. My husband washed his hair in the sink and the hairdryer didn't work. The vent in the bathroom didn't work and you could see into the vent and it was filthy. The coffee pot was dirty/dusty and so we went down to the lobby to get a cup. (No regular creamer. Only hazelnut). I am allergic to nuts. The bed appeared to be clean but the dust ruffle was dirty. I was afraid to look under the bed. The phone charging station and remote was filthy. The window coverings and the valance were falling apart and ripped. Both chairs in the room were extremely dirty and old. It was dusty inside the closet behind the mirror where the ironing board is stored. The old phones and light switches were gross. I could go on, but I will stop here. Needless to say, we had a restless night and should have asked for a refund and left. With families only beginning to travel again and covid still lurking in the background I think your hotel needs to do a better job. We were told that the maids were not doing their job but it wouldn't be their fault the furniture and vents and window coverings needed replacing. Isn't it managements job to check on things and replace when needed? It is also managements job to make sure the rooms are clean. We paid $167.03 for the...

Stayed here for a family reunion.

Reserved a King "Suite", which was the same regular hotel room as the others in our group with maybe an extra 6 feet of space and a desk.

The King bed was supplied with four "standard" pillows, possibly smaller than "standard" and as hard a concrete blocks. The bed was by far the most uncomfortable hotel bed, in which I've slept (or in this case, TRIED to sleep) in more than 30 years of travel.

The halls of floor 2 smell like cat urine, as did our room. Only one elevator functioning with strict warnings of number limits on the number of people riding. Why are their elevators not fixed and running, this hotel seemed to be at full capacity. ONE elevator only (slow as well, took well over 5 minutes of waiting In a four floor building!).

The prices this establishment charges for their rooms is borderline criminal for the lack of quality and service as advertised online. Seems we would have had significantly better accommodations at nearby establishments from looking at those while here.

I am disappointed that Hilton would certify this location with its problems and terrible condition.

One would be advised to avoid this Hampton Inn/Hilton property at all costs. Seriously overpriced and an absolutely miserable 5 days.

We could hear and feel EVERY door close near us on floors above and below. As well as constant talking/chattering/banging noises.

Complimentary breakfast was worse than a high school cafeteria food, according to one of our group (and the rest of us as well).

Stay well away from this place, their prices are outrageous for the extremely substandard conditions of this location.

The Hilton brand should be ashamed.

*UPDATE NOTE: Added one more star to Staff and Serivce Staff and one star to overall because of Staff and Service Staff. My review is not at all reflective of the staff, we only encounter friendly helpful people. It was the physical facility with which my...
