Jarrett Design — Attraction in Emmaus

When we decided to renovate our kitchen, we asked our friends for a referral which led us to Jill and Jesse Jarrett . From our first meeting to our last and every time in between we were happy to be working with Jarrett Designs. At our initial meeting, we shared our inspiration photos that I gathered from magazines and websites. A beautiful plan was created to turn my dark late ‘90’s early 2000’s Tuscan inspired kitchen into a fresh, updated , bright space for entertaining. What we especially liked about Jill and Jesse was their willingness to listen to my amateur ideas without judgement and incorporate some of them into the design. They respect that the customer lives in the house and were able to fulfill our personal wish list in the best way possible. The Jarretts are true pros at this and they are so thorough, detailed and organized. Most of our emails were directed to Jesse who was our project manager and he would answer promptly with a clear answer to any question. The suggested suppliers were also very easy to work with and helped orchestrate the construction and installation in a timely fashion. The crew assigned to build this awesome kitchen were so GREAT! Steve Kaufmann was the lead and he and his right hand man Doug would be sitting in their truck each morning at 7:29 AM for their daily 7:30 start time. They were courteous and prompt and clever with some neat ideas and suggestions. Steve had hands of gold and his attention to detail and precision was unmatched. Each day they’d leave the site tidy, swept and ready for the next day. I was expecting a houseful of dust but this was not the case. We are so thrilled we did this huge project with Jarrett Design. The result speaks for itself … beautiful cabinetry that the Jarretts designed , natural stonework, even a walnut Grothouse bar all came together to make an elegant and stylish kitchen that we love! We could not be any happier that we chose Jarrett Design for our kitchen design and cabinetry. At every step, they were creative, knowledgable, organized and helpful. Jill and Jesse were patient while we made choices and clear about the pricing and timeline. They easily adapted to our style and talked us through the best way to maximize our space and keep within a reasonable budget. The kitchen designed by Jarrett Design replaced our original 1969 kitchen. The end result is so beautiful and open and the cabinets are gorgeous. We love the details they suggested along the way that really make it special like our custom hutch, soapstone counters, lighting features and finishing touches. Jesse and Jill are both great at communication and response. Every time I have called or texted either one of them, they have either answered right away or within minutes. When we realized that one of the cabinet doors was slightly warped, Jesse contacted the cabinet company and we had a replacement within the week. Since our job was out of the area, we hired our own contractor. Things did not work out well with them, and Jesse helped smooth over some of our differences and took it upon himself to monitor the installation process. The kitchen was part of a larger job, so we really appreciated knowing that we could rely on Jesse to jump in to help resolve any issues related to the kitchen. We loved our entire experience working with Jarrett Design. We had saved for several years for our dream kitchen and had met with other firms that were more focused on selling us cabinets versus helping us design our kitchen. Jarrett Designs walked us through the whole process, managed everything from designs through construction. They thought through all the details from measurements to making sure our kitchen worked best for our family with a young child, and look like the Dream kitchen we had in our heads all those years. They talked to us about what choices may be fads and which ones would be timeless, to lighting, hardware and custom options they really thought through it all. Having very easy to understand design plans and a contractor that we would recommend to anyone for his team, attention to detail and general wonderful nature.
