This is in response to the recent purchase of California Skin Institute by Schweiger Deramatology, who proceeded to send me a past due bill last week that had 16 additional charges totaling nearly $300 (some as high as $135.74 and some as low as $0.73) covering 7 visits going back to 2023. I called to dispute this invoice and was told I need to prove these were already covered by insurance. Not sure about you, but I don't hold onto insurance statements from 3 years ago, not to mention I changed insurance companies. If I had been sent an invoice related to these charges at the time they were incurred, I would have paid them, but I was not invoiced by CSI for any of these costs before Schweiger took over. I'm sure Schweiger went back and 'found' these charges and now are forcing me to respond. After 10 minutes of frustration talking to their billing service, I was told if I don't pay these and don't provide proof they weren't paid, this bill will be sent to collections. What a joke. BTW, a quick Google search shows Schweiger Dermatology has complaints on their billing practices! Surprise! CSI/Schweiger - you just lost a loyal customer who has been a customer for over a decade, missing out on $000s of future revenue. Sorry, not sorry, but I'm taking my...

Read moreUnfortunately, I have to take my review from a 5 to 01 based on their front office. They are the absolute worst front office I’ve ever dealt with my pharmacy has called them over the last few months three times and finally given up because they refuse to call back and my prescription was not filled. I called them myself two days ago and they refuse to call back they don’t even answer their phone when office hours are open they claimed the pharmacy never called them because they don’t have it on a call. Log as if they could know what number the pharmacy is calling From. Absolute nonsense! They don’t take accountability and Rhonda. The office manager hung up on me because she said she didn’t like my tone obviously I’m very frustrated after not having my medicine for three months. This is malpractice and I will certainly be making a claim to the medical board based on their negligence and lack of accountability. A doctor owns this practice and he...
