Grant County Historical Museum — Attraction in Ephrata

Grant County Historical Museum has many pieces of history from all over the world but primarily from the local area. There is a 2-hour outdoor tour about life in the 1800, when the town was first built. It's $4 per adult and less per kid with free for those below a certain age. The people working there are polite and helpful. You can purchase a small number of knickknacks at the front, including $0.01 for a cool Shiny rocks up to 50 cents for larger ones, and some $3 50-year commemorative pins for the museum itself. This is an interesting little place. Five dollars gets you a tour and history about the area. The first part of our tour was nice, the woman was very informative and we learned a lot of interesting tidbits.

The tweaker employee who filled in brings the stars down. We were there to learn, not to hear "so-and-so sat here, no, just kidding, I don't know who sat here."

We will recommend this place to people we know who are coming to the area, but caution them to go the other way if the tweaker dude is...

Excellent. After one sees the usual artifacts in the main building they take you around to each of the out buildings that all are filled with additional items related to the building.
