Grant County Historical Museum has many pieces of history from all over the world but primarily from the local area. There is a 2-hour outdoor tour about life in the 1800, when the town was first built. It's $4 per adult and less per kid with free for those below a certain age. The people working there are polite and helpful. You can purchase a small number of knickknacks at the front, including $0.01 for a cool Shiny rocks up to 50 cents for larger ones, and some $3 50-year commemorative pins for the museum itself. Read moreThis is an interesting little place. Five dollars gets you a tour and history about the area. The first part of our tour was nice, the woman was very informative and we learned a lot of interesting tidbits.
The tweaker employee who filled in brings the stars down. We were there to learn, not to hear "so-and-so sat here, no, just kidding, I don't know who sat here."
