I really don’t like to make negative posts, typically if we don’t like the food, we just move on
However, I read some of the reviews and people claiming it’s as good as Mexico is insane. I’ve been to Mexico, was raised in California, when I moved to WA 10 years ago, I realized good Mexican food is hard to come by. We were in the area visiting so we stopped in. The shrimp enchiladas was ok, (they did add a lot of shrimp) the salsa was very good but the birria tacos was the worst we’ve ever had. I can only have one bite, he drowned it with salsa and added a jalapeño but still can only eat one. The rice was decent but we couldn’t eat the beans, it had a weird taste. This doesn’t even compare to food in Mexico, I’m sorry. Friendly staff, fast service, no issues with that.

I'm always a bit apprehensive about dinning in Mexican restaurants as I could just make the food at home. My family and O were visiting a family member and decided to try this place out. THIS WILL BECOME A MUST STOP EVERY TRIP. The food was so authentic. Also, not only do you get chips and salsa but you also get a small plate of fried beans and another of melted cheese. The staff was beyond kind. My husband and son went back the next morning for breakfast and it too did not disappoint. This molcajete has thw best tasting sauce than any other mocajete I've, and other members of my party, have tried.

One of many Mexican restaurants in small town Ephrata WA, but in my opinion it's the BEST Mexican restaurant in town. I ate here twice on my trip home. First time I had the long awaited Arroz con Pollo(cannot get this dish in Arizona) and it was exactly what I expected and had been craving. The second night my friend and I splurged and shared the Molcajete-Surf and Turf with a couple of Margaritas on the rocks which were made to perfection and not pre mixed.

I go to ALOT of Mexican restaurants and this one was hands down THE WORST! Came all the way from Wenatchee to take my brother-in-law and a friend of ours out to lunch and was very disappointed. Horrible service, the guy that took our order didn’t know what was on the menu, kept looking at our menus to figure out what it was we were wanting, kept asking us want it was, charged us WAY more than what we calculated it out to be even with tax, our ticket total said $58 with tax and everything it shouldn’t have been more than $65ish (roughly) when we went to paid it jumps to $107. We had told them 6 different times we wanted 2 checks still tried to charge us with 1, had to get 6 people to finally get the total and 2 separate checks right
. WORST part is we had 4 people at our table, we all got food poisoning. Ened up walking our VERY disappointing. Will NOT...

The service was great, our guy was nice and attentive with a positive attitude. Our food was good. My daughter's taco salad came out sitting in water, with water pouring out of it. I asked for a new plate so we could put the salad part on it, because she doesn't eat the shell anyway so it didn't matter that the shell was soggy, but they completely redid her order.

They lost a star for me, because it was very awkward to have a man they allowed to come into the restaurant to solicit... He walked around to all of the tables interrupting meals and conversation to place a card on each table trying to sell granola bars... then he went to every table again and stood there till you looked at him and either purchased or said no thanks. That really threw off...
