Pita Pit — Restaurant in Ephrata

I ordered the gyro @ about 3:30 on a Thursday. It was nice and quiet before I ordered, but patrons came to pick up food consistently while I ate at a table. The owner was a pleasure to chat with. It has a great atmosphere with the potential to have private parties, as I see a stage and lighting for such. I would think it would make for a great spot for graduation parties. Although by the time anyone reads this, that season will be over. My gyro is very fresh! It's not the customary Greek gyro I grew up on, but it's delicious as the same. I never thought to put spinach in my gyros, I love it! The tzatziki is tastes great too (I'm particular about my tzatziki).

Last week, I told my husband that I wanted to go eat at Subway, because they are my 2nd fave lunch place. He suggested that we go to Pita Pit. I refused, for about 30 minutes, before giving in. I was feeling as if I were going to regret the decision, so I told him to order there, then I'd go back to Subway. He talked me into having the same thing he was having. I LOVED IT! Our first time in. Staff helped me out with ingredients as I have allergies. Had a chicken type wrap. While it was good, it had very minimal meat and lots of lettuce etc.... More sauce would have been helpful as well as it was a little dry. Would definitely go again for another try and take more time to order and ask questions about options.
