Walked in today to have someone look at my DVD overhead unit and Chris DeNarto (owner) referred me to the Oceanside location, since I bought it there ((good). Things turn quickly sour when I asked other questions regarding my unit updates and new equipment available. Mr. DeNarto apparently could not leave his store since he was alone ( that’s fine), he failed to identify this from the beginning and became very irritated when I kept asking questions. He did not like how I told him that i would make sure to write a review due to his poor attitude. Things got a bit heated and was asked to leave after I informed him that a simple “hey I’m alone and cannot check your vehicle at this moment, but I can schedule you for later” this would have been more appropriate, then the irritation and frustration this person demonstrated. I was in the market for an alarm system and car stereo and stopped in to get pricing. The person at the front counter was pretty uninterested in really helping at all. His attitude was horrible. I was looking at somewhere around $1200 worth of stuff and had cash to pay. I asked if he could print out a quote of the work and he refused. I a Called back a few days later to setup the appointment for the alarm to get done. Same poor attitude over the phone. When I tried to set up a date he gave me something over 2 weeks out and told me before he would do anything he wanted me to come and leave a deposit.

At that point I went with another stereo/ alarm place in Kearny Mesa who were more than happy to make my appointment for the very next weekend.

I called and at first the gentlemen sounded pretty nice. I asked him what it would cost to install a Line Out Converter, he said around $50 if I remember correctly. I then asked him about disabling my Cadillac's Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) amd his reply was; Him: "well YOU can disable it by disconnecting the 3 mics in the cabin." Me: "I was asking you as in can you do that too?" Him: "Well that's gunna run you another $159 for parts and labor so you're looking at $200+ already " Me: Hung up

He said it in this snobby little upset boy voice like he didn't want to do his job for money.

Anyways, I went down the street to AudioSport and had everything done for me for $120 in less than 30min with exceptional service. Don't waste your time with this business, they don't...
