Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine — Attraction in Euclid

There are four amazing relics from Lourdes here. When they placed the statue of Mary in Lourdes, the rock where Our Lady stood had to be flattened and rock fragments removed. This sanctuary has three of those fragments: one is outside, to the left of the statue, in the middle of a marble tile with a cross; the second is outside, in a similar setup, lying flat with the water from the spring going over it (can be touched during winter when there is no water), and the third and largest is inside the gift shop with a relic containing the rock and a bone fragment from Saint Bernadette (fourth relic). A holy shrine right here in Cleveland! We recent discovered it - a lovely gift shop with holy cards, medals, rosaries etc. A very friendly group of 15 nuns run the facility and raise funding via the shop, spaghetti dinners and breakfast meals served on weekends and during lent. Beautiful outdoor grounds for prayer and meditation. Quiet and wooded. Holly walking trails, many with handrails. Outdoor Mass area and candle prayer areas are wheelchair accessible. Rosary walk and Stations of the cross have broken asphalt and stairs and would not be posible in a wheelchair.
