That Breakfast Place — Restaurant in Euclid

I like the food and the place is great! However, I give 1 star because customer service is So IMPORTANT whomever the young lady is that always answers the phone is rude. First time I called to order - I perceived frustration in her voice coming off to me as rude not pleasant at all. I did ask if she was okay she explained she was okay and repeated what she said to me to justify her rudeness. Second time I called - spoke with the same lady. I said I would like to order a “vegetarian breakfast CROISSANT?” She said, “you want to order a veggie SANDWHICH?” I said yes, the veggie CROISSANT?” She said, okay so you want to order our veggie SANDWHICH?” All of our sandwiches come with croissant. At this point of going back and forth of whether the item was called a SANDWHICH or CROISSANT - I told the young lady that was okay I do not want to order, said thank you and hung up. Now, I was unaware that all sandwiches come with croissants because I am the customer its not my job to know exact names; however, I am sure this young lady understood what I was ordering regardless of the appropriate menu name but chose to be light weight argumentative about it. Instead of going back and forth with me she could have said, okay, yes ma’am would you like anything else?

I called a few days later to speak with a manager and the same lady answer. I ask for a supervisor - she told me there is no supervisor, and if I had a problem I can speak with her. I asked to speak with the owner she told me owner was not available.

With that being said - as of date I have not spoke with anyone regarding this issue. Also, I absolutely refuse to patronize or recommend a place that you have a bad experience and there is no supervision recourse to follow. I will not be eating there going forward nor will I...

I HATE to do this especially for a black owned restaurant. But management needs to do something. I’ve had two other bad experiences with this restaurant but I didn’t take them personally and just figured the staff was having a bad day but after today I have to leave a review. I call to place a pick up order and the young lady on the phone wasn’t very pleasant however I still proceeded to make my order, after ordering, I asked for my total and she told me that I couldn’t have a total and I let her know I would like a total before I placed my order she was very rude and nasty to me and she told me that she’s just a cook in the back she doesn’t have any control over the register so she’s unable to tell me how much my order is going to be. She said I will have to wait for the server to finish her table and then get my total I said that was fine but she didn’t want me to wait on hold she said I had to call back in 10-15 minutes just to get my total.To think someone so rude over the phone would be cooking my food didn’t sit well with me so I decided to order elsewhere. I completely understand being short staffed in 2022 however just being plain rude and nasty to someone trying to give money to this business...

The atmosphere is nice and clean friendly even the cashier she's very friendly I liked her this is my first time being in this business I kept looking at it while I was across the street at a car lot the waitress help me out with the menu because my vision was very bad I couldn't really loogk at this menu words are so small menu is very shiny she suggested catfish which is very delicious a little slimy I didn't like that part but it's expected with catfish not a big size I was expecting i shoulve gotten grits I'm glad I didn't was afraid to even say this she suggested hashpotatoes so I ordered itwhich was horrible grease so burnt all I could taste was old grease Portions are small now I want to see why prices are so cheap is not worth a penny more it took 25 minutes for my food I don't understand why if the grease is old it doesn't take long to cook maybe was forcatfish bread was horrible like day old bread stale hard I couldn't even bite into it even when I warmed it up it when I got homeimmediately got back hard I will never ever come back to this place once they step their game up and change the grease it is sad when you cannot support black businesses this is the reason why they...
