The trails follow the creek and you can actually walk all the way to Bob Eden park from The Villages of Bear Creek.
I've brought our dog to the dog park quite a few times. He started out in the small dog section when he was a puppy and moved to the large dog section once he was big enough. Both dog areas are a good size. There is usually a decent crowd on evenings or weekends. The dogs have a blast, there is plenty of room to run around, things to sniff and places for the dog owners to hang out and watch all the fun. Bags & trash cans are provided to clean up after your pet. She always make new friends and every parent I meet is nice and we all share helpful tips with one another and the dogs are so well behaved, have not seen any dog fights or anything bad. I def. recommend this park to anyone who loves for there dog to be socail with a range of 2-15 dogs at a time. They do have a small side and large side but I feel like its up to the parent and the dog to decide because both sizes get along no matter which side there on. Also there are a lot of outside picnic area with grill and trashcan* (important for cleanness of the park) next to it. The trails are going through the park. The trails connect three different parks that are nearby. When you are running or walking the trails, you see beautiful scenes and some houses with great decorations.
