Separated areas for small and large dogs. Both areas have more than enough space for dogs to run around and/or do their own thing playing fetch with their owner. There's some picnic tables and some underneath a pavillion. The water fountains don't appear to work so bring your pup something to drink. Lots of tennis balls around for your dog to play with if they like. There's poop bags to pick up after your dog although not all were courteous enough to pick up their dog's waste...that being said watch out for landmines even if far, few, and in between. All the owners seemed to be very friendly, engaging, and keeping watch on their animals. Overall, great time, my mini goldendoodle pup...
Read moreWould give it more, but parking is too far for the small dog side....it wouldn't be bad if we did not have to cross the street. Seems like they could have a gate that opens from the larger dog side to the smaller dog side. Also, the hosing off area should have a gate to enter directly into the small dog side. Dogs behave very similar to their owners....that being said, a dog about the size of my dog in height came in very aggressive towards her, so bad that their owner had to exit with them because they would not pipe down. Aggressive dogs don't belong...
Read moreI've been going to this dog park with my Blue Heeler, Tucker, for at least five years and have always enjoyed the visits.
The city does a pretty good job of maintaining the big and small dog parks with bags, bench areas, lawn and tree maintenance, and fountain water (before cutting it off because of COVID-19).
As anyone should know when going to a public pet place, please keep an eye on your dog(s) interactions (I've seen my share of dog fights), pick up after your dog(s) poop, and don't bring small dogs into the large dog park unless you know they...
