Historical Village — Attraction in Eureka

I had a great visit here walking around to the different historical buildings. A lot of work has gone into decorating, and arranging items into the buildings. They have done a good job of taking care of the exteriors also.

I had a blast looking at the 50+ 3D stereo images from the late 1800s and early 1900s that were in the building under the big tree. Stood there for at least a half hour putting the cards into the viewer and looking at them carefully. I'm a photographer, so this really stands out in my memory.

The trail that goes along creek is wonderful. Great for walking and seeing nature up close. Seen people fishing and kids playing in parts. We spotted several deers on our walks and other small wildlife. This is a good clean well maintained paved trail that is well used..by humans and the wildlife...
