My family and I were visiting Eureka this week. We rolled into town on Monday and left this morning. It was our daughter‘s idea to come here for coffee… A short half mile walk from our Air BnB.

From Tuesday morning until today, we walked the short walk so that I could enjoy the best caramel macchiato latte that I’ve tasted in a long time. I’ve been at a lot of coffee shops in a lot of places… Trust me it was one of the best.

My daughter is a big fan of their iced Matcha with honey. And this morning, my wife and my daughter both had a vanilla chai iced drink with cold foam. Exceptional.

The staff are very pleasant and every morning would ask if I was part of their loyalty program. I would cheekily respond by saying… “I’m loyal to walking to your café every morning while I’m in Eureka.” ;-)

Saw on fb about this cute coffee house. So I was interested in finding out more about it in the small town of Eureka. It's right off the main downtown street...up a little hill. The Gathering Place is fantastic! It is one of the rare gems that would warrant SIX stars if Google made it an option. The ladies that work there are incredibly friendly, the environment is welcoming, and it is the perfect place to get a good cup of coffee in the Eureka area.
