Overall Poletskis has been okay. I'll describe their service both times I bought Items as: "better late than never". Communication is key and that is where they were lacking in their service. Service techs are excellent, friendly, efficient, and good. At the office Jeff promised items sooner than they will actually arrived. Kelsey was moody. Once I got a voicemail saying my refrigerator had arrived, I started driving over to pick it up, called, and they told me it wasn't actually there, but in Fortuna in the back of the truck, and I would have to come back tomorrow. The second time I went to buy something Jeff forgot to update my contact phone number, I did tell them my number while I was there but the info did not get entered into their computer. After waiting several weeks to here from them, I called and brought it to his attention. Rather than taking responsibility for a minor mistake and apologizing, blame was shifted to the customer, my landlord. he said, "she gave me an 822 number", that number was outdated by several years. Had he verified contact information at the time of sale, we would have been in contact a lot sooner. No big deal overall, but a little disrespectful to shift blame to my landlord instead of apologizing. Overall "Better...
Read moreI’ve worked with Poletski’s more than once — first for the purchase and delivery of a washer and dryer, and more recently for moving and converting them. Unfortunately, both experiences were marked by poor communication, blame-shifting, and incomplete work.
Most recently, I paid $185 for the move and possibly another $150 for a propane-to-natural gas conversion. The job was left unfinished — the dryer wasn’t usable because the hose wasn’t attached. The tech didn’t even check the hookup; he just assumed it wasn’t ready. I walked around to the back myself and saw that everything was in place — all that was needed was to connect the hose, which I had ready and on hand.
Instead of taking responsibility, I got a call from the office “explaining” the situation, which felt more like deflection than accountability. I ended up finishing the setup myself — and only then did the dryer work.
This mirrored my earlier experience with their delivery team, which also involved multiple avoidable issues and a lack of follow-through. While two of the techs who helped with the move were kind and professional (and I plan to thank them personally), the company’s overall service and reliability have been consistently disappointing.
I won’t be using...
Read moreUPDATE: After the response that I received I ended up getting more bad information and being lied to about how they would handle things resulting in a lot of wasted time without a workingworking in my home. End result was an EXPERIENCED repair man from another company came in and determined that the work that had been done by Potleskis was not done correctly and also made a list of broken parts that Potleskis had missed. Repair man was familiar with Potleskis and made me aware that in recent years a change in ownership has caused frequent repair problems for customers.
I recently had them repair my washing machine. Schedule coordinator made things hard on me for no reason. I was without my machine for about a month and they told me that they did not have a loaner to offer, but this was after 2.5 weeks and I had to call and ask. Install crew did a great job, or would be 1 star. Update: it is now around 2 weeks since my machine was returned, it is broken worse now than ever. The repair man let me know that I shouldn't be concerned about the squeaking noise that the machine made immediately after repair, but I guess that was bad advice. Downgraded to one star for...
