First time visiting. The place is awesome it has something for EVERYONE. This park has two parks for the kiddos, tennis court, basketball court, soccer, fishing, and of course there are two almost like cabanas to do a little outdoor meeting/ cookout with two grills that need to be cleaned but already in the premises (might need to get a permit not so sure) and best park it has a decent size free parking lot. I would 100% recommend to visit. A hidden gem. I will continue to visit for now on.

Great park, I go here all the time. Lots of open fields, a nice .5 mile trail, a tennis and basketball court, a pond and a playground. This park is special and is definitely a nice park. Only issue is with high goose/duck defecation on parts of the path during summer/spring and aggressive redwinged blackbirds that appear around nesting seasons. Overall though, I love this park.

If your kids are new to fishing and you want to guarantee catching, Bring some worms and drop a line. They're small, but active. Not for the Gamesmen. Bring some old bread for the ducks as the little ones like that too. Park has nice path through a few separate playground areas.

This park tucked away on the edge of town is one of the best secrets in Evanston. Lovelace has it all. Soccer fields, tennis courts, large pavilions, and a great duck pond with newly updated path. Plus the biggest "hills" in town outside Mt. Trashmore! Parking lot is nice but will get full for soccer games.I hope the city is planning to continue with the modernization and update the on-site facilities. More trashcans are needed as well as new drinking fountains...

For the money that is surrounding this neighborhood, this neighborhood park is in need of mass repair everywhere. It needs a total redo of all the kids areas that's all the way true. Honestly, even though I live 5 minutes away, I never frequent this place, ever. My son takes me there to drop them off for sledding and that's about it.... Great location, dilapidated all...
