If I could give this zero stars I would . I was working in the area and decided to call in an order for pick up. I called at 11:30 and was told 10 minutes. I and another buddy ordered so the order was not complicated . A cheesburger and fries and a 2 hot dog meal . I got caught up with something at the work site so after the almost 15 minute Drive there is was 11:50. I waited 20 minutes once I got there for our food. I was handed 2 bags Without even a sorry for the wait mentioned. Once at the worksite I discovered one bag had a hot dog and fries and the other bags had a hot dog and fries. NO CHEESEBURGER! How with such a simple order do you forget a cheeseburger? I called and the guy said come back and I’ll whip one up for you. No apology no excuse. I drove the 12 minutes back to again be handed a bag, no apology no excuse no offer to refund my money for the inconvenience. My mistake is that I did not open the bag , take out the cheeseburger and inspect it, but who thought I would need to since it was a cheeseburger. I drove back to the house we were working on to eat and I took a bite. Inedible! This was by far the most overcooked awful burger I have ever had. The fact that this already was to make up for a mistake in not providing the cheeseburger with the order to begin with you would think you would take extra care to make sure it was good. The burger had one small piece of wilted lettuce and a Top bun that was already broken in half when I unwrapped it. It is a shame the employees at this place do not know a single thing about being appreciative for customers or decent customer service as they are in the customer service business. I nor any of my co workers will ever go to this place ever ! That is a shame since our company has signed on to large Rehab project in the area , meaning we will have a couple dozen people daily looking for a lunch option for the next three to four months. This place will NOT be an option we will choose. I wish I could post a picture of the black charred hockey puck they said was a cheeseburger. Read moreJust ordered chicken wings for the first time. Normally I order the chicken sandwich buffalo style and it's usually great. The fries always come crispy and hot. They often forget to include a single napkin or plate even when I specifically request it, but I've never called them about it before. My order arrived with no napkins or utensils again and without the ketchup I requested. The wings are low quality frozen like what I've purchased frozen from the grocery store. They're fatty and not crispy on the outside at all. The fries arrived under cooked to the point that some are cold and have a freezer taste. I decided to call the restaurant directly. I order 4-5 times a month so I thought they would appreciate my feedback. The gentleman who answered the phone kept interrupting me while I was trying to tell him about the napkins and ketchup and his response to my comment about the fries being very undercooked was 'you should have ordered them well done, everyone has different taste'! Are you kidding me? Why would I order them well done if I'm very familiar with how they normally come? Second, there's a difference between not being well done and being chronically under cooked. I proceeded to offer my opinion on the wings and said they taste like the frozen kind to which he interrupted me to say 'all wings come frozen to every restaurant' ! Are you kidding me? Firstly, I know for a fact not every restaurant serves pre-breaded soggy fatty wings. Getting frozen chicken is one thing but throwing a prepared item into the fryer for not even enough time makes for low quality eating. Because this man was so rude, I asked him if he was the manager to which he replied 'yeah!' I can't imagine a manager or employee that would be so rude and abrasive and actually find ways to blame the customer for the food being under cooked. Read moreI went to this restaurant like a month ago and I just felt like writing this review. The restaurant is a small spot I found in Evanston. The place was really small, but it was clean and it was the only spot I found that was near my location, so I did not bother looking for another one because I liked the menu they had. Their menu is basically a selection of hot dogs, burgers, and the like. They have a wide selection, and I just ordered a hot dog and fries. The service is definitely quick, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It was so quick that I ordered and got my food in just a few minutes. There is nothing really special about their food, and I can describe it as a nice and decent hot dog. It is good, yes, but I definitely like their fries better.
