I checked the website and found a mother Goose time for my 14 month old who hates the car. We drove from Ridgefield Park and arrived 15 min early. When we arrived I told them I came from Ridgefield park and am a patron there. She replied that the mother Goose was for residents only and looked away. She didn't even invite my daughter to atleast play in the children's area. This library needs to update their website in the area specifically where parents look for activities.. it should Read Mother Goose... Residents Only. Read moreThe basic function and organization of this library are embarrassing. They do not keep accurate track of books that are borrowed or returned. It is sad when the free public library is something that you have to shy away from due to mismanagement. I grew up only a block away from here and frequented the library for 35 years before they accused me of not returning books. After threatening me with collections, I paid this debt and now discourage anyone I can from using it. There is nothing free about the way this place is run. Read moreI like my towns library, but it's impossible to get to the 4th floor when the elevator doesn't work especially when you have mobility issues. It is physically impossible for me to do what I have to do at the library without an elevator. I hope you get the elevator fixed soon.
I have to resort to going to other town libraries because of this problem. You should have more options for people who have leg problems and can't get from one place to another because they are in a wheelchair...
