This is a nice place to park for access to the Fairfax Cross County Trail. Heading east, the trail is mostly wide and paved or hardpack. It follows the Accotink Creek through wooded areas meandering between residential neighborhoods. I lived near here a long time and suggest it for walking or biking long distances. Most people on this trail are super nice and will let you know if they are passing you. There are deer out here and the park is nice too for kids. Nearby, within a couple minute drive you can find plenty of food...
