Guava Artisanal Latin Bakery is AMAZING! The pastries are as delicious as they are beautiful. While I'd like to keep this place a secret, I also want to make sure they stay in business so that I can go back!

This was our first time in (found it on social media). It's tucked in the very corner of a small strip mall and isn't visible from the road, so make sure you don't miss it. As they described it, they make pastries from a variety of Latin countries but mostly with Dominican flavors. I had the passion fruit meringue and my husband had the Flan de la Abuela. The passion fruit meringue was delicious, with just right the texture and passion fruit flavor and a light meringue on top. My husband said the flan was really good as well and was a bit thicker than other flans, which he liked.

They had many other items to choose from, including hot items like empanadas and croissants, and other pastries. When I asked what other pastries people like, the gentleman helping us mentioned the passion fruit cheesecake, dominican cake, alfajores, and more. I can see why it's hard to choose - there are so many amazing options! Before we left, we put in a plug to add Torta Chilena from Costa Rica to their menu if they're looking for new additions. ;)

I was looking for a unique cake for my sister’s 40th bday. As I was researching for local bakeries, I came across this little gem that is tucked away in the corner of the plaza. I ordered a number of goodies to try and WOW I was pleasantly surprised. I truly enjoyed the Dominican cake, the guava cupcake, the coconut rum tres leche, the passion fruit cheesecake and they were all really tasty-good. None of them were too sweet and the cream on top hit differently. It wasn’t too sweet or thick like American cakes or too light and fluffy chiffon like Asian cakes, it really was different and delicious. We immediately ordered a 7” of the Dominican cake. It has a layer of fresh guava jam, in between some cream and the most amazing dulce de leche goodness in between the layers. I’m so happy I found this little gem. I will be back soon to try more of their goodies but in the meantime I’m excited for my sisters bday cake and she will love it! Thank you...
