Where to start...

1. I shop around for what I want to get the best deal, even if it's not the best I'll support any local home owned business first unless it's ridiculous. The BX hardly ever has the item I need or want, and when they do it's way over priced, even with the no sales tax accounted for. So more by more I automatically rule the BX out without even considering it.

2. like I said already, they barely ever have what I want or need. I think, oh they'll have this, and I have 20 extra minutes, I'll run to the bx and pick it up. Nope, they don't carry it. After fishing in the duck pond with my son I realized I needed different bait. We weren't too the bx, surprise, the bait was horribly laid out, armed I found 1 item that I wanted. I set it down and we left. We spent another 1.5 hours going to a proper store with items the customers actually need.

3. My last straw with them is when they delivered my couch. I finally found that they had a better deal, and more convenient. Upon delivery it was damaged. After arguing with customer service they agreed that I could return the couch and buy it again. WHAT?! Return it and buy it again? It was on sale to start, so who knows if I'd get the same price. Secondly I'd have to wait a week to be reimbursed and another 3-4 to get the new couch. Who does this to their customers, military customers, that are supposed to be professional, integrity, and defend your right to be on our base.

4. They treat employees like trash. I've had friends that work there that have nothing good to say about the company.

5. They have a monopoly on the base. A squadron can't even have it's own fundraiser, booster, snack bar, without AAFES stealing a percentage of the profits.

Garbage.

On a good note, the day I went to look for oil for my truck it was on sale. The only reason for 2 stars.

This company is garbage, has lost all of my respect, and I won't be going there again.

On a side note. At least the BX in deployed locations carry baby items. i.e. stroller, car seat, swing, formula. You know, just in case you pop a kid out while you're driving around in a humvee and fighting for your...

We called to ask if they have the iphad 8th generation, we talked to Nicolas, he had us wait for 10 minutes until he gets an answer, he calls us back and says they have it. We drive for about 50 min just to get there to buy it and when we get there they said oh we don’t have it!!! I couldn’t believe it. Best BX in the land of the big BX....Where else could you find men's suits by Alexandre's of London made with Egyptian cotton . Where else could you find a Turkish merchant straight out of the bazzar or souk in Istanbul selling merschaum pipes, jewelry , rugs. Men's clothes, men's clothes!
