Closest place to get that elusive Quessbirria tacos. Its $3.99 here including with cheese. Other places near the bay sell it for $5.20. These Quessabirria tacos are really good here. The consume already has a hint of citrus, maybe pineapple so forego the lime on the side.
As with any great mexican restaurant they start you off with Chips and Salsa. The salsa is fresh and not as chunky as other mexican restaurant, it's more of like a sauce.
We also ordered the Al Pastor street tacos, and the only gripe I have about it is that there are no chunks of pineapple like traditional Pastor tacos have.
The owners are a delight. Asked me if I wanted more onions and cilantro which I happily accepted to put in my consume. They also have this house hot sauce that is made from Yunnam chili which is equivalent to the spiciness of Habanero but not overbearing. A must if you're a chilli head.
I definitely recommend this place just for the Quessabirria tacos alone. I will be back to try their BBQ dishes because they too...
Read moreGlad I waited to review this place. Went late night on a Wednesday and got a taco plate. Beef, chicken and pastor. The grilled beef was ok, the chicken was kind of bland for a Mexican place, but the pastor was some of the best I've had in my life. Plus, they put guac on my no guac take out. Take out tacos are a bad judge though, so I came back for lunch a week later.
The pastor blew me away. Just superb! The food came out piping hot, the rice and beans were executed great, but honestly, I almost went back for more tacos and would have if the line wasnt out the door. Don't sleep on this place, it's good eats. Didnt get guac on my tacos this time either, bonus!
Another edit: get the quessabirria(spelling) tacos. Shredded beef and cheese, melted and fried on the flat top. You'll ruin a workout or two, but man they're addicting. My biggest problem with this place is deciding between those and...
