Oh my gosh. Let me start by saying that I have never gotten a tattoo in a tattoo shop before. I looked up tattoo shops near me and the universe put “war paint” in my path lol. With the best rating on Google and them being the top runner, I decided to try them out. And I am SO GLAD that I did! they make you feel so welcome. They are chill cool and down to earth, relatable. At the same time, very professional, sanitary and clean. If you’re anything like me and nervous about getting a tattoo or picking the right place,. I’m telling you don’t pick one of these other five shops around here, go to John and Sarah at ”War Paint”!. You will not regret it! They got a new life customer with me and I will be making another appointment to come back soon:)

Absolutely the best tattoo and art studio I have ever been too, and I have been to a lot. Amazing artists and the most kind hearted people. They have completely changed the stereotype of a tattoo shop. I walked in there looking for a tattoo and walked out with a group of friends. I highly recommend anyone looking for a tattoo or local art to check them out! I wanted to post an update to this review. This is no normal tattoo shop. I can say besides amazing artwork and customer service they provide a environment that truly makes you feel special and safe. Throughout Ohio entire shelter in place order I have missed their company more then I can explain. Jon, Sarah, Jenn, and Donnie provide a place where your mind and body can relax and War Paint is something Ohians desperately need now...

I've only had a few tattoo artists in my life and have about a dozen tattoos. For the past 3 to 4 years, I've only gone to War Paint Studios. I'm a bit picky, and I want the person that is going to permanently mark my body to not only be exceptional but also personable, kind and gets me. That's somewhat a tall order, but I found these qualities with Jonathan and Sarah at War Paint Studios. Other than my first tat when I was 18 that I picked from a picture on the wall (lol), all my tattoos have been custom designed and hold a special meaning to me, and I share my story with them and, in return, they share stories and life experiences with me.
