11/13/2022. Awful for people w mobility issues. Never seat a person who is using a walker in a booth. The table w chairs was just sitting there but he refused my request to sit there. Not going back. 2020 After a rocky start things changed. We ask for a close table due to mobility issues and were seemingly ignored because no one acknowledged in any way. But we were soon seated. By the way the waiting area from the rear door is a hallway and not at all inviting. It is typical diner fare but good and filling. I ordered lake perch that came with a great veggie soup and decent dinner salad with pepproncini, croutons, tomato, black olives and mozzarella. 3 decent breaded perch planks, a large portion of real mashed-complete with chunks-and a non-descript industrial brown gravy. There was also a patty melt, I wrap and a burger. All came with soup whic is a great touch. The server ended up being a joy and even offered to go refills on our drinks. I ordered the parmesan chicken with the spaghetti to go. With it came a saide salad, which I got french dressing for, and an italian wedding soup. The chicken parmesan was tender and well cooked. The bredding was a little thin, but the amount of sauce and cheese on the chicken made up for it. The spaghetti was decent, although the nodles were very girthy and had watery sauce to accompany it. The spaghetti was a real bottle neck when deciding what to rate this meal. The Italian wedding soup is where my biggest greivences lie. First off, the broth is watery and has very little flavor. The meat chunks, what i assume is some form of sausage, were too big and flavorless. Finally, the noodle saucers all sunk to the bottom and contributed nothing to the soup. They also did not give me saltine crackers, where as the person I got lunch with did. The side salad was pretty average. The price of the meal came to around 11$ which is a very good price for chicken parmesan. Overall, the only real problem with the meal was the soup and the spaghetti. 4/5 for price and...

We arrived about 4PM and my husband and I ordered off the early bird menu...almost all meals except pasta, comes with a bowl.of soup..I picked the stuffed pepper soup..which was delicious and my husband picked the beef and barley..he loves it. We both had the chopped sirloin with onions, that came with mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans...a roll was suppose to come with it but we didn't get that...didn't matter, we were done by the time we realized it. The chopped steak and potatoes were good but the green beans had no seasoning at all and it desperately needed it!! Our son had breakfast and it looked great and he said it was delicious! The iced tea was freshly made and refreshing! Our server was super nice! We love this restaurant..have been there many times and will be there many more...
