La Jerezana mexican market — Attraction in Fairview Heights

Love this place! Newly opened in Fairview Hts (strip w Olde World Jewelers and Bandanas) carrying a Huge array of authentic-Mexican-brand foods-- fresh, frozen, breads, canned goods, flours, candies & sweets, piñatas, hard-to-find spices & all kinds of dried peppers, mole, empanada dough rounds ( yay! ), tortillas of all sizes, dulce de leche, and a Dizzying array of bottled sauces & heat --- and more. Considering the size, small, I was able to get what I was looking for, didn't find individual pkgs of corn tortillas, looks like they sell them by the case, but the flour tortillas are excellent and not the "mission" brand, all the right spices here, and even jars of tomatillo sauce!! I hope they grow to a bigger store to include...

I love this store. We were there today and purchased Chorizo. Sometimes this is the only place I can find it! I took my son in & he picked out some candy items! That was fun... lol. Trying all the different things. Now my children are even excited to go back and try other things! & the lady behind the counter was amazing & so kind.....
