Nice trails. Usually not many people out on the trails and the trails can be pretty rough in places. Loop trail with a lot of elevation change if you want it. A little too close to crossover which means there is a lot of traffic noise, but it’s a trail that is actually in town, so not unexpected (or that bothersome).

This is a wonderful outside trail to a massive log wood Pavilion. The paced trail is level so an easy walk to the pavilion. Well worth the easy walk. There are paths into the woods. Lots of birds singing so very enjoyable.

Great trails in the woods! The trails were not super well marked though and went off course multiple times. Wish I lived in the area so I could do more exploring

Depending during the mouth of year you go. We went around the end of June 2020. Beware, we come out finding a couple of ticks and fleas on us. And still ended finding more on us as we drove home. Not only were the flea and tricks on us but we found them on our dog, I would not recommend bringing your furry companion. Aside from the fleas and ticks, these trails are very confusing, need more signs, or directions labels to let people know what direction is what. We had to get the app all trails to find our way and what direction to go. 🥴🙄😱 Nice location and very beautiful area love the trees, but not the fleas and ticks or knowing which...

I love these trails! They are really nice but they are just really confusing and not well kept. I also thought this led to the summit of Mount Sequoyah but it did not. It was also really steep on some parts and there were many trails that were really confusing. It had a nice pavillion area at the start of the trail and even a paved road at the beginning but after that it just became really confusing. There were many different trails that intersected and came back together, and at one point the trail wasn't even visible. Still a nice trail tho but I do reccomend coming in fall or winter so you don't get bitten up by ticks but...

The Runyan/ Lindsey/ Underwood pavillion is a marvelous work of art that is breathtaking to behold the amazing craftsmanship of Robbet Runyan himself, the Arkansas Living Treasure of 2014. Besides Robert's masterpiece, the woods and trails are a wonderful way to escape the city without a long drive. Very popular with mountain bicyclists, but also a great place to come walking with your dog or escape for your lunch break, or a picnic. No trashcans available, so be prepared to pack...
