A very peaceful place to go. They're are usually people there, but everyone kind of stays to their self and talks quietly. It's a place to come to be closer to God and that's how you feel when you're there, it's very beautiful. It's a very small area they use but it feels much larger when you're sitting there, the view of the city is stunning, absolutely gm orgeous!! They have benches to sit on and plants all over, they keep it up so well, so beautiful, so peaceful, so perfect. You can sit and think and pray and the cross is right there, lit up and it comforts you. And the view is amazing! You're up on the mountain, you can see the whole city, all the lights! And you can identify them, there's the University, there's the mall, it's just amazing, it's absolutely beautiful. And you can come here any hour of the night, any hour. The funny thing is, there's usually someone here or someone walking up or driving up. I guess there's no special time to meet with God, He's needed it at all times, all hours of the day and night. Thank you Fayetteville, for giving us a safe, peaceful place to go to pray, meet new friends/people, meditate, enjoy the magnificent view, or to feel closer to God and Jesus 🙏 Glory to God & Jesus!...

I'd give it a 5 star review if the trees in front of the cross were trimmed down. They are young trees so it's not too late to nip them down to improve the view. Other than that it's an amazing spot. Pretty sure you can see clear to...
Read moreIt is a very scenic and peaceful view of Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas, and the Ozark mountains that surround the town. Always enjoyed biking to this spot and checking out the overlook. Unfortunately the locals who live near this spot like to think they own the overlook and threaten to call the authorities any time someone stops to take pictures. Still worth...
