Atwood Stadium — Attraction in Flint

We enjoyed the inaugural game for the Flint City Bucks vs. Detroit FC. The historic facility was in great condition with much thanks to Kettering University. There was plenty of seating to choose from with VIP sections available.We sat well above the Center line for optimal view of the field.

Tickets were only $10 so a family could make it an affordable night out. The lower priced ticket prices were made up in the cost of souvenir jerseys $79for adult $40+ for youth which seemed high compared to other jerseys purchased elsewhere. Luckily my son collects scarfs. There were concessions available as well as adult beverages which were also high. $7 for 16 oz domestic beer.

The Bucks played a decent round of soccer and managed to beat Detroit FC 1-0. As a coach and the father of a soccer player this made for a great father and son night out. We'll be back and maybe next time we will bring the...

The bathrooms are clean and we're well stocked with supplies when I visited last Saturday. The new turf on the field is absolutely beautiful and from what I understand drains very quickly. Absolutely gorgeous stadium and home of the recently crowned USL-2 National Champion Flint City Bucks soccer club! There's not a bad seat in the house and the stadium is very easy to access with ample parking and a great downtown location.
