We went in for a second time and not one person greeted us or even acknowledged us at all. I didn't know if we sat ourselves or waited as no one would even look at me and no signage to tell us. I found a seat luckily as this place is set up horribly especially if you're disabled like i am. I use a walker to get around and the only seats other than the bar are upstairs. So i have to use a came to walk in here and it's very dangerous for me as i am a severe fall risk using a cane. We say down and waited about 10 minutes for our server to come over she was nice and everything but didn't offer is water at all but got us some drinks. Or food came out and neither me nor my wife has a drink and the food was so salty we couldn't eat. After about 10 minutes of sitting there with our food the server comes out and also if it's ok. I had to ask about my next drink cause my fries were so salty i couldn't eat them. My wife offered the poutine and some spring rolls. I ordered a BBQ pork burger. My wife's poutine was so salty she couldn't eat it and my burger was so burnt and had bbq sauce on it and was flavourless. Over all we will not go back. We saw groups of people waiting 30 minutes for a seat aka not 1 person said a word to them. Me and my wife had 2 drinks each and split a dunk with an absinthe swirl which was a joke it was$8 add on for a run rum of absinthe no actually drink out in they just run absinthe along the rim When we got our bill the waitress tried to charger me for 3 whiskeys when i only had 2 and forgot to add the$8 extra charge for the joke of absinthe. They were having some kind of "market" that was supposed to be in the alley but was in the bar and it reduced what little seating they already have to half of not less the. "market" was just a bunch of old used clothes, a palm reader, and some bags a woman made. All in all don't waste your time find a better place to go Burnt food, over salted, no service, no seating, bad for the handicapped, over charging on the bill and trying to get away with it. Rude employees by not even acknowledging the patrons And parking is also a pain. You either have a small parking lot on the side of the building with homeless people being for money and looking in people's windows or you have to park across the street and walk past 5 homeless people to get in and out of the bar

This was my first visit, so I had to order a number of things from the menu. It all sounded good. I ordered fried pickle spears, a soft pretzel, and a breakfast burger with upgraded fries to poutine. The pickles were good. The batter needed a little more seasoning, but the homemade ranch was good. I would order again. The pretzel was good with beer cheese that had a kick. The burger was amazing, perfect, and a house made patty, not a preformed frozen one. It was great. The poutine was good, a little salty, but I would get it again. I'm not sure if the fries were pre-salted or if the gravy was just salty. I would get them again. My friend got the grilled cheese, which was on a nice light bread that was toasted perfectly and plenty of melty cheese. I look forward to the next time I am in Flint, trying other items on the menu. Service was great as well, fast, friendly, and got everything right. I give props to who was in the kitchen on Saturday, September 7th, in the afternoon. The food was amazing and out quickly. I will be back.

Service was fast, polite, and upbeat. Food is phenomenal, every dish was well portioned, cheap, and diverse. Highly recommend the sliders (fish, beef, pulled pork, chicken), truffle fries, egg rolls (the best ever!), the dill dipping sauce, and more! Interesting how a bar can have better food than most restaurants. Thursdays they do trivia. Good music. Comfy environment, full of people but never feels crowded. Located right off downtown. The drink selection is one of the best I've seen. The German light beer, Hacker Pschorr, was one of my latest favorites. The Guiness was super smooth, the bartender said they mix it with nitrogen or something to make it extra smooth. Food comes out fast and hot. Overall the top winner of best bar in the city. The staff seems like an episode of The Office lol. Andy has been there for years, knows all the drinks, just ask him to make you something good and he'll hit it out of the park. McKenzie is a great bar tender, very attentive. Both Andy and McKenzie are artists so follow them on Instagram.

My first and last time at soggy bottom. This is going to be long but im going to write it anyway. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary tonight. We tried to go to fenton hotel because that's been our tradition for years of anniversary dinners...but they were slow and closed their kitchen early before we made it there. Bummer. It was getting late and most restaurants were closing soon so in our disappointment we instead decided we would go get some cheap greasy bar food....we weren't getting prime ribs, french onion soups and mint julips tonight... so lets just eat fun stuff, right? We ordered a soft pretzel, chicken strips, poutine, and fried pickles. When we decided we were just going to get fun appetizer foods we also decided we would bless our waitress with a tip as big as what we were going to spend at fenton hotel. Ya know...make someone happy in place of our failed anniversary dinner tradition.

We would have done so had we had a waitress at all. My husband ordered a beer that never came...which he wasn't able to get because the woman that brought us water and took our order never once checked on us after we got our food. We both had empty waters and eventually sat them at the edge of the table. Still nothing. She went to the table behind us several times with receipts and a pen or something. Back and forth 3 times and on the fourth we stopped her and asked her for refills. I had stopped eating because I was thirsty. Here she comes again to the table behind us with receipts and gasp....still no waters. So when she was walking back by for the 5th time I stopped her and said "can we please get our bill since we're clearly not getting anything else from you". She then proceeded to tell me not to be rude and that someone stiffed her and she's "dealing with stuff right now".

Excuse me? Someone stiffed you so we deserve to be thirsty and not get what we asked for TWICE now? Would it have been hard to bring water by one of the 5 times you went to the stiffing table🤔 I guess when some other patron gets walks out no other patron gets service. I bet the walkout was thirsty and sick of her not showing up too. Makes sense. The funny part about it is that if she had taken care of us properly i bet our tip could have paid for the stiffed bill. But as waitresses like her do...she pre judged us because we drink water and ordered cheap appetizers. We had $120 tip for you sweetie... but since I'm so rude for expecting to be served by a waitress ONCE during my anniversary "dinner" I sure hope you enjoyed your exact change.

I've never EVER done that.. even with bad service. But I didn't get ANY service so oh well. Definitely will never ever...

I used to come here all the time that I used to beg my friend to come with me. But now I will not be doing that ever again not even for the drinks the service is slow a little rude. My drink was not strong at all usually I have to sit in the parking lot before I leave. I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon on it the chicken I could not even chew through it tastes like mush Rubber and I could not taste any flavor I'm a chicken breast. I told my waiter and he said well you wanted it well done. If it was well done I would be able to actually chew through it I don't even think it was done at all or it was just extremely dry and they prepped it wrong. I also asked for a regular french fries and was brought out seasoned fries I didn't say anything cuz I was so hungry and had not ate anything all day plus the chicken sandwich was not what it was supposed to be so I figured I might as well just eat the french fries. This is really sad I used to like coming here especially late night to get finger foods. The only thing that I liked that was new where the locks on the bathroom door and they put air freshener in there so it doesn't smell and it's not dirty. But this was on a Monday I'm pretty sure the weekend is pretty rough like it used to be. Another thing that really turned me away from this place was they add a 18% gratuity no matter what you get on your bill. I believe the only reason why they changed over to this, is because the food is so absurdly nasty that nobody was tipping and I don't blame them because the food has no flavor. Never again. Not even if someone paid for me. My food and my drink came to $28 and I left there still hungry...
