I called to see if their pizza was available or running, and they told me only on Mondays and then starting full-time in November. I then asked if I could bring in my own pizza instead of eating from the taco truck. They said I was more than welcome to bring in my own pizza. Upon arriving and setting up in a back room the manager I think he was the manager came in and asked why we thought we could bring in our own food. I told them that I had called ahead and was told I could do that. He made us feel very uncomfortable like we were doing something wrong. Meanwhile we ordered multiple drinks throughout the night and was even overcharged for one of our orders I ordered three beers and was charged for five. They continue to make us feel uncomfortable like we were being a pain by asking them for the right beer pours. Over all I felt very unwelcomed overcharged and that we were a pain in their butt. We spent a lot of money and felt like we weren't welcomed. I would hesitate to come back even though that was one of my favorite places to come in Flint. I have a customer service background and connected to Kettering University and I would hate to tell them of my bad experience. I want Flint business to succeed but I also want to feel welcome for money I...

Another local staple. Not a beer person so I pretty much only get the honey blu blu and tacos when they are being served. Seoul man is my favorite. Usually a good atmosphere and they have open mics and trivia nights. During the colder months, pizza is served instead of tacos. I've had the pizza probably 3x now...first 2 times it was too dry, not enough cheese or sauce. This time it was better but it was over loaded with pepperoni and quite burned on the outside, not edible. The place is child friendly which is interesting. It is also dog friendly which is the most unappealing aspect to me. I've worked in many restaurants and we generally don't want animals roaming around because!?, hair. Which is what I found in the couch cushions in the game room. I was disgusted. Someone's dog shed all over the couch and it was not cleaned. Wasn't eating that day thank God but I will not eat anything in that little room or inside the building if I can help it. Other than that, a fine...

My brother took me here after a Michigan game. They serve all their own craft beer, non alcoholic beer and finger food. You order at the bar, take your drink or flight to a table that you choose with a number stick if you ordered food and they will bring that to you. I enjoyed all of their craft beers from the ciders to the stout. The fried chicken nachos were also very good. Food and beer is moderately priced. I’m not a fan of no table service but it might work for them. Cool, clean low lit vibe inside. Indoor/outdoor area with high top, chair, bench and picnic table seating split in multiple rooms. Patio area is has a decorative fence enclosure with a fire pit and corn hole game. Free WiFi. Lot parking. Live entertainment on evening weekends. I will return when I’m...

Beer and staff 5 star. Building is supposedly an old fire station. Soooo why isn’t it decorated that way? Old wood half walls are so pretty. Then you have these plywood tables and junk torn pleather sofas. Reminds me of a grandma’s basement. Now I’ve never been to Flint but not much decor. Kegs against the walls and clutter in corners. Weird lights on an otherwise trendy black ceiling. Would have stayed for more than one beer but no. If you’re a beer snob, they’ve got phenomenal choices. Paint the walls red, get rid of the clutter, don’t put weird metal chairs against the wall, get a couple fire outfits, put up the fire pole. At least try for some decor. Walk in it should be more descriptive.

#46 in the now renamed SE MI Brewery Discovery Tour. Getting too far afield to call it just Metro Detroit anymore. I like this place and these people. A cool 2-story brick building next to the river. Humongous outdoor drinking/dining area with tons of picnic tables, many with umbrellas. Lots of shade from trees, too. Food truck out back, Vehicle City Tacos, if you need comestibles to soak up the alcohol. There are several beer cocktails in addition to the straight beer. And the beer is solid. Went with a flight - of six! - for $16. No complaints here. The inside is cozy and inviting. The beertenders are super friendly and quick, too. Why are they so far away? 😩
