La Familia Morales — Restaurant in Flint

My third visit. I have experienced their Take-Out and Dine-In. I. recommend hard beef tacos. Have to pay extra for sour cream. 7 tables in the dining area managed by one waitress. They have a sign up saying…Seat yourself! I had to move cups off my table (see picture) after the waitress passed me 2x with now acknowledgment that she was going to clear the table. Meanwhile , a customer comes in at sit at a dirty table like this in normal? The bus boy didn’t show his face until 1 hr or so into my visit?? We didn’t get a menu but she wanted our order after 30 of even sitting down…. The waitress was clearly overwhelmed. More employees behind the desk and in the kitchen area than helping out with Dine in guess. Free hands from the back only came to Dine in area to laugh and talk/greet the regulars. In which they did not have to wait for drink or food nearly as long. I’m a fair human being. Flint respect for what “We” can give back to the economy will not change unless we demand standards in every establishment we choose to spend our money. I have been buying and eating from this restaurant for over 20 years . I recently had an experience of a waitress coming to me and making me move my leg off the chair while my friends and I were eating lunch My leg was on the chair because I was in pain I did as she said for respect I came in again to buy tacos and there was a 45 minute wait on the takeout side. The dine in side was empty with only a few people There is also a section where you stand while you’re waiting I sat in the section where you sit when you’re ordering , the same waitress came and asked me to move and stand over on the other side. I informed her that my legs were in pain and I needed to sit. She told me I still had to move just in case someone came in. Those tables are reserved for others. I stated if anyone came in and needed a chair I would move, the waitress, said no, you have to move. I stated. I would buy food and eat there in order to remain sitting and she told me that I cannot I had to move. I have never been treated so disrespectful in my whole life. I will never eat there again nor any of my friends...

I purchased one beef enchilada and two medium shell taco's. The enchilada had less than a handful of lettuce tossed over it an a half tablespoon of Catalina dressing. I don't really know why. The taco's were supposed to have cheese, couldn't really tell if they did or not. I took a couple bites of the enchilada. It had a sauce poured over it that didn't taste right. The consistency was a little thick maybe lumpy. Just weird. I ate half of the enchilada. Two hours later I had a tummy ache soooo bad, felt like I'd been kicked in my stomach. I couldn't do anything the rest of the day. That pain lasted into Thursday night and continued Friday morning and afternoon. I haven't been ill in many moons so I know it was their food. I will never eat at this place again and I will not recommend it to anyone. I had been told by a few that their food was good, that's the only reason I went there. Save yourself a panic attack from worrying about becoming a crime victim, it's not located in the best area in the city. Go to a better mexican restaurant like the one built into the...
