There is an amazing splash pad that can be enjoyed by all ages (even adults). The water is nice and cold! It is the perfect way to cool off and have some fun when the summer sun is scorching. And it's FREE! There's restrooms on site with vending machines for drinks under the covered Pavillion. Music is played from the speakers surrounding the splash pad, which makes it even more enjoyable. The park playground equipment is within walking distance. The playground equipment can be enjoyed by small children up to teenagers. There is something for everyone! There are lots of picnic tables and a few swings surrounding the playground area, which is a bonus for parents like me that's always loaded down with all the snacks and refreshments.

When they first turn on the jets are very high and powerful. My girls (3 and 1) were terrified and asked to go back to the playground. Read moreThis is a large riverside park with pavilions for parties that have built in fireplaces. There are several picnic tables spread around the park all the way to the river. There is also a decent frisbee golf course that is worth playing. Plenty of trees for hanging hammocks, which is common there.
