First Jessica, the evening mgr, made sure I had the room I requested when I called to see if it was available. She called me back, to tell me she had the room held for me. Mind you, this was at the end of her shift and really she should have already been on her way home. I had to call Marriott to use a reward to book the room and then I called Jessica back. She held on the phone until I booked the other room, so my family could all stay together. And that was just the beginning of the stay. Cindy checked me in the next day and since the lounge was closed for the holidays, she made sure all my family could have breakfast the next morning. Which we really enjoyed. My wife and I was waiting on my daughter family to arrive and I notice the snow was falling as I had since the past several years I've stay here for the holidays. So I asked the front desk if we didn't have snow this year? She held up the remote to show me the snow could fall at anytime. So as we waited, with Daniel at the front door to greet them as them pulled up, the snow started falling. The granddaughters 10, 8 and grandson 3, just loved the snow and made all kinds of noise when they walked in. But the best was yet to come, when they walked into the Sam Phillips suite. They went wild, running around to see everything. The balcony, the jukebox, the bathroom that the girls took over with their stuff and starting to play songs on the jukebox. It was great. We went to KFC and bought back dinner which we enjoyed as a family around the big dining room table. Then I went down to get the skillet cookie and ice cream for the kids with the food credits Cindy gave me at check in (Thanks again for taking the time Cindy to get everything perfect) to top the night off. We went down as a family for a late breakfast and our waitress took great care of us. As we were leaving I asked the hostess a question. She called Will over the dining room mgr and he took the time to answer the question. My daughter family walked into the lobby several times coming and going and she said that the snow was turned on for them each time. She thought, it was on all the time, until I told her. They watched for the kids coming in to turn it on. THANK YOU for making our stay...
Read moreWe live 15 minutes from this hotel & come here for a weekend getaway because of the resort like feel you get staying here. My wife & I have stayed here throughout the years for a romantic weekend to celebrate anniversaries or birthdays. They have one of the best pool & bar areas we’ve ever been too. It’s like a hidden gem being in our little town of Florence. We decided to stay on Saturday night for our daughters 6th birthday. We arrived before check in time & were given full hotel access to pool, bars & restaurant. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived so they worked quickly on getting us a double queen room & we checked in less than an hour. We went to pool immediately spent the entire afternoon & evening at pool area. We had drinks & decent little dinner at the tiki bar located by pool. They set up beach style blowup big screen by the pool & played a movie. (Pets) They have resort style pool ammenaties which include a beach style access to pool, waterfalls, tunnel, amazing slide, rentable cabanas, outside hot tub, indoor pool, indoor hot tub, sauna’s & arcade for the kids. My kids kept saying they felt like they were back at the beach & couldn’t believe we had this in our town. The water slide is big enough for several adults at once! (Witnessed this later into the evening.) We had a great Saturday & swam until 10:30pm. Sunday we checked out at 10am & had brunch at Swamper’s Bar & Grille. We were given pool access until 2pm & took full advantage of it. We had an excellent stay & only had a few minor issues which were handled properly. Just a heads up for future visitors, the pool area has a staff that checks for armbands frequently. This keeps the hotel from becoming a public pool. They unfortunately have an extremely strict policy on no outside food or beverages at pool area, which include yeti cups or anything else commonly brought by hotel visitors. I personally was not impressed by the draft beer & the drinks were sub par. I would recommend having a drink or 2 before going poolside. The environment was excellent & we had a wonderful time celebrating my daughters...
Read moreBIG FuN Resort Hotel in Florence Alabama with minor issues that could be easily remedied with a little extra attention to detail. As usual all of the initial investors have gotten (still a GREAT place for noW) ALL their $$$ back times tEN, and the incentives for careful oversight of the property has started to lapse into mediocrity! I wanted to get some bleach and a brush to the shower because of the black mold in the grout, also one regular and one decaf coffee pod per room for two seems a bit chintzy. I have to apply for a microwave to be put in my room…. WHAT??? Little Thangs like that But….. THE REAL FAIL… The 360 Grille – Florence AL has opted (caved) to the southern appetite, and is not entirely willing or able to address the nuance of fine DINING (the food) that they portend with their otherwise excellent service and ambience, but that is the very reason why the 360 Grille loses any real value as a well-rounded experience.
It should go without saying that service and ambience are; or should be, a distant second and third to the quality and preparation of the food?
One observation of the other customers of the 360 Grill that my give insight; was the considerable number of people that took doggie bags with them when they had FINISHED the meal.
Would you recommend 360 Grille – Florence AL? : YES; because IT IS The 360 Grille – Florence AL, but if you have ever had a TRUE fine dining experience with restaurants that actually provide that service you may be somewhat disappointed.
"A unique selling point offers your customers a feeling that enables them to remember you long after they are gone. Let your food, your service, and your unique selling point and identity make an emotional connection with your customers."
YES; however, I am afraid that my emotional connection was not a pleasant one because the FOOD at The 360 Grille – Florence AL was NoT aLL that and a BAG...
