This is a nice park and it is close to the house. Lots of youth sports. Playground and place for food, you can make a barbecue. Very clean air. It's always nice to be here. I wonder where are the benches around the entrance to the park? We used to sit and enjoy the picturesque view of the likes and birds. Normal, comfortable benches are gone. Instead, they put ugly structures around tree trunks. The new benches are full of dirt, bird droppings and other rubbish. The benches themselves are now located in the middle of the lawn, which is trampled down, which means bare earth and dust. Why was it necessary to change good metal benches for this horror? See what beautiful metal benches they make. It even provides for the use of a wheelchair for a disabled person. That's who you need to take an example from!

Ollie (my dog) loves it, it’s a decent size dog area with a gate, it’s divided by small and big dogs based on weight. Dogs are pretty well behaved and haven’t seen more than 1 aggressive encounter in the last year. I also love it, got the chance to meet a lot of people and now we have our own little group. Everyone’s nice and pretty respectful. I just wished that whoever is taking the water bowls and balls out of the park stops, it’s a public sharing space, I left a bowl and 2 balls for everyone and after 3 weeks of not going I don’t think I saw them last time I was there. The grass on the dogs area could be trimmed a little more often and the hose is not working anymore. Other than that the park is pretty good.

The staff won’t dry the surface for you to skate. I went to front and asked for rags to dry the hockey rink (like I always do) and they did not provide. Staff member Elizabeth advised she would be coming to blow it and currently she has not. There is a whole family out here trying to skate on the wet surface and this is a big liability for injury. Orange County Park staff need to do better to make safe skating conditions. You are offering the hockey rink to our community & it’s only fair for it to be dry & safe for us to enjoy. I advised the park manger at front office about condition & all he could say was the roof has issues. Didn’t fix the issue at hand. Get new staff that take their job seriously.
