Shoppes of South Semoran — Attraction in Orlando

This IS NOT a shopping center like Waterford Lakes. This is NOT a mall. This IS a corner lot that houses a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, Chase Bank, Dollar Store, a Dunkin Donuts, Subway, and about 10 other small stores/services that are constantly changing because the LOCATION is terrible. I've lived in this area of Orlando, Southeast, a long time. It is continuing to grow and change. This is one of those constantly changing areas in the attempts to compensate for the 'BIGGER and BETTER' consumer market. Bottom line, before you head out the door, you might want to call and make sure the store is still there. If not, just go N on 436, to the NEXT TRAFFIC LIGHT ON 436 & there is ANOTHER strip mall with a Wal-Mart, Publix, etc. Location. Location. Location. Don't like this location. Dollar tree here sucks, this Walmart here no like. It's just an uncomfortable feeling place. Don't know if it was built on an old Indian burial ground(that's me exaggerating) or something, but I feel uncomfortable regardless of what store or business I enter. If I need to shop at Dollar Tree or Walmart, I'll do it at another location. Besides this and the other Walmart on Semoran are the only ones I dislike shopping at. So hard to navigate no matter which way you come in because there are always cars parked in front of every store in the "No Parking Fire Lane" area. Makes it hard to drive with this many double parked cars in very precarious places. There is sometimes a squad car parked too. Yet he doesn't realize he is causing awkward situations nor does he look in the rear view mirror to see others that are in more dangerous spots like the corner curve.
