I’ve recently visited gator land with my family my son who is special needs and 6 other family members.. As we entered we were told my 2yr old did not have to pay for the ride, but that was far from the issue! While every other encounter was a great one with most of the employees from the snack bar and bird feeding, I found me and the three little ones feeling a bit unwelcome while taking the pictures with the crocodile while we waited online there were many other people mostly Caucasian and Chinese maybe Indian I felt as they interacted more with those when it was our turn our pictures were snapped with no care or interaction! As we made our way to the off the road truck to take a ride we stumbled upon another problem because Joey who was driving the truck decided to be very rude and nasty and it just showed all over his face and body language he did not like people of color! From the very start of him asking us why does our ticket say four and we have five! which I stated at first, the front ticket person said my baby did not have to pay and could not ride if he didn’t meet the height requirement which he did. It’s all about the tone and your approach and he was very nasty my aunt passed him a receipt he brought it to me. I did not accept it because he was already rude and I did not give it to him. I told him to hand it back to the person who gave it to him he then dropped it on the bench and it flew! I asked him to pick it up and give it back to her he said no and walked away! I told him he was acting in a very racist manner and asked for his supervisor who also said he would look over matters get back to us and send over the photos we were unable to purchase because we got held up for this matter. Keep in mind this is all on Easter! Our kids did not get to enjoy or do much because this took up all of our time! We still did not receive the photos we were promised the next day we would have. I gave my email to the supervisor I believe his name was Ken the security Junior was very nice and understanding No matter the situation while working with people the customers are always right! Joey for some reason felt like he owned the establishment and could talk to customers nasty! I would never ever return because my kids got first hand a taste of racism! It’s a beautiful place and educational place for the kids and adults but after that experience it made me feel different about people of his color who think they are better!!! when we paid our money just like everyone else! That’s Joey with the hat as you can see he thought it was funny! And the supervisor who assured us he would send the pictures to us because we could not purchase do to our issue…. All we were able to do was watch the gator show ride the train and the other half trying to resolve the issue… The supervisor came with a little gator as if that was supposed to resolve a issue that was bigger than the gator! Racism is big and rudeness to customers those type of people do not belong working around people who feel they need to be in a verbal battle with the customers who are paying their...

If you're looking for a unique experience in Orlando, you can't miss Gatorland, also known as the "Alligator Capital of the World." This theme park is a perfect blend of nature, adrenaline, and educational fun. Ideal for the whole family, Gatorland offers a fascinating look into the world of reptiles, particularly alligators and crocodiles, which are native to the area.

What to Expect? From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by giant alligator signs, setting the tone for the park. The most impressive aspect is the sheer number of reptiles you’ll see: over 2,000 alligators and crocodiles on display. The park also offers live shows where experts demonstrate the incredible skills of these fascinating animals. If you're a wildlife enthusiast, this is the perfect place to learn about these reptiles and their conservation.

Must-See Attractions The "Crocodile Show": An amazing live show that will leave you in awe as trainers demonstrate their incredible skills with the alligators. "Gator Gauntlet": For the brave at heart, this attraction lets you walk on an elevated walkway above a pit full of alligators. Animal Encounters: Get up close and personal with some of the smaller reptiles, as well as exotic birds and other creatures. "Screamin' Gator Zip Line": For adrenaline junkies, this zip line lets you soar above alligator-filled ponds, offering breathtaking views and a serious thrill! Atmosphere and Amenities Gatorland has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The park is well-maintained, and the staff is knowledgeable and always ready to share their expertise about the animals. There are plenty of rest areas, souvenir shops, and food options, making it a comfortable visit for everyone.

Tips Don’t forget to wear sunscreen as most of the park is outdoors. If you have time, don’t miss the "Gator Jumparoo" show, where alligators leap out of the water to catch meat in mid-air. If you're visiting with young kids, there's an interactive play area for them, adding more fun to the experience for the whole family. Conclusion Gatorland is an excellent choice if you're looking for something different from the larger theme parks in Orlando. It's the perfect place for nature lovers, those wanting to learn about local wildlife, and, of course, anyone who enjoys a good adrenaline rush. It’s definitely worth a visit if you're...

This is an affordable, very fun, and incredibly unique experience for tourists, locals, and anyone who likes to just simply have fun and/or enjoy a nice change of pace in a day. Gatorland has done a fantastic job of curating a great experience from facilities to park layout to offerings (shows/attractions/things to do/see).

For the price, it's probably the best value park in all of Orlando. Pound for pound you get free parking that is very close to the front gate, we walked less than 100 yards from car to gate and we weren't there until two hours after it opened. I loved that we didn't have to bump in to others all day long like the mega theme parks all have. I also liked that I could take advantage of things like not worry about cost of eating in the park (sodas and food and souvenirs are all so expensive at the mega theme parks you just can't enjoy the day without cringing at the cost and hassle of the whole day).

At Gatorland, we tried a couple of treats like AMAZING fresh hot mini donuts made in front of us to sodas/popcorn as well as our daughter wanted to feed the animals from gators to goats to turtles and the price was affordable for a family to do that. We also took the train and got a take home remembrance item (photo with a gator and sweatshirt).

Again, it's the best value for a park, no crazy lines, no stalking your cellphone to book the next "ride pass" or pay a ton of money to ride different rides like the mega parks have with their passes and experience to try and enjoy the day without lines, lines, lines. We had none of that at Gatorland. The people were awesome, we had space to roam and enjoy so many different offerings. We got done and back for dinner after the day and felt energized and so thankful for the family time together. We avoid the big parks now as locals because of the cost and hassle of parking to price of everything and then paying insane prices to have some shorter lines.......as locals, we just exchanged our daily visit cost towards and annual pass for Gatorland after our visit today as we were so impressed. We look forward to several more visits this year, we had a wonderful day and will be bringing family as they visit us this year from out of state,...
