PROS: Clean restrooms. The people working there are awesome. Good little store for snacks and drinks. Clean. The tour I left on was awesome. Location for boats to launch.

CONS: Everything else. The county needs to rezone this place and add more parking for cars. The "park ranger" is unpleasant. Like...EXTREMELY unpleasant. She was horrible. No understanding. No chance to even try and move. No nothing. Move or be towed, end of discussion. (Thank God for the manager of the store who saved me and gave me a parking spot. I would have been stuck there with my daughter and no way to get home if I'd been towed) There are so many places for boat trailers to park and only maybe ten of them filled up. It's nice to know that the county doesn't care about the tourism that brings in a bunch of money and would rather just issue out parking tickets or ruin people's vacation. So, you have been warned.

I understand it's a small island, but the people I met that lived there were just so happy and pleasant. The people who work for the county are just UGH. Or at least that was...

Nice quiet boat ramp during the weekdays. Weekends can be frustrating with rental companies and charter boats tying up the launch, parking, and small dock space, but you'll eventually get in and on your way. It's the perfect spot to get into the north end of 10,000 Islands or out to blue water quickly. I always launch here to fish around Marco and Kice Islands since the launches further west are always packed and chaotic. Nice ship store with plenty of supplies, food and drinks, and live bait. Restrooms are always clean and operable too. The ramp can be very slippery at low tide, so be careful launching with a rear wheel drive, and use 4wd here if...

Great spot to put in your boat. Awesome vistas and views along the 10,000 Islands area...if you're fishing there's a cleaning table on the dock. I highly recommend this location for any boating reason. The parking lot space is large enough to accommodate a lot of boating activity. The town of Goodland has multiple places to enjoy...Lunch, dinner or musical entertainment. The bathrooms were clean and there was little delay or back up to launch or load and leave. Check it...

Great place to launch your own boat or kayak. Pay $10 for motorized boats and $5 for non motorized boats. We launched a non motorized boat and a kayak. We spent few hours in kayaking. Since it was almost near dusk (during December month), we got a bit of high tide while returning back. So I suggest to return back before dusk if rowing on your own.

Great county boat park... It was a busy Saturday... Anglers, kayakers, scuba divers... Plenty of parking, boat ramp can handle two boats at a time... Bait/Gift Shop has all the stuff you forgot, fresh bait, cool t's and stuff... Guides & charters available... Open sunrise to sunset... Pavilion with small grill available...

Fantastic place to launch your boat. My friend I was visiting launched his boat from here and it was great. Tackle shop onsite to stock up on supplies if you need to. We launched here and headed to some remote islands near Marco Island. Nice restrooms. Lots of parking. I highly recommend.
