UPDATE 12/12/2022: Rode our ebikes here again from Marco for lunch with some friends. Ended up eating here because the little bar was closed on Sunday. My wife and I split the blue crab wrap and our friends split the shrimp wrap. We both had the chips which were the best part. The crab wrap was really small with not much meat. For $18.99, I expected way more. We were asked to more 1/2 way into our meal due to a large group coming in. So to summarize: food was small but not terrible, price was crazy high for what we got, service was decent. Tables were still jammed together with loud fans close to the small outdoor seating area. They only serve beer and wine. We will probably not try this place again based on this experience.
Review from last year 12/2021: Went to get an outdoor table and not a single person, customer, wait staff, or bartender was wearing a mask. Outdoor tables were jammed together with no extra distancing. Business as usual here with no social distancing or other simple precautions being taken. Went to the Little Bar in Goodland instead which was great and much safer! Might try this place again next year...
Read moreDon't bother buying a gift certificate from Erin the owner of Crabby Lady. The gift certificates are not numbered and she apparently has no way of determining if any of them were ever used. I bought a $150 gift certificate for my sister's 60th birthday. My sister misplaced it. After two phone calls to the restaurant, Crabby Lady would not replace it. Erin said that I had: "put her in a tough spot". Let's see...Erin couldn't track that the gift certificate was ever purchased, nor could she track whether it was or was not it was ever redeemed (despite my emailing of the credit card statement with the charge clearly listed on it. Incidentally my email was never replied to). Let's review who is in "a tough spot". Crabby Lady = +$150. Birthday Girl = No birthday lunch/dinner at Crabby Lady. Birthday girl's brother = minus $150. Well Crabby Lady, I'd say that I am in a tough spot, not you...until I wrote this...
Read moreSunday we were a table of 6. Got there at 11:30 to make sure we got an 8 inside out of the sun due to heath issues. We had 2 rounds of drinks then each of us had an appitizer. Intending to order dinner after. Had a couple of more rounds of alcohol (funday Sunday). Prior to that time our waitres had provided good service. Then she came over to ask if we would move. She said she was sorry but she was told we needed to move out to the table and benches. We are full time customers, summer, spring, winter and fall. The owner made another lady move so we could have a table for 6 out on the benches in the sun. At this point I do not believe I will return to Crabby Lady. If they are not loyal to there full-time residents we will not be loyal to them. This is the first time in my life we have been thrown out of a resturant. Something for locals to...
