Very cool park on the small, quaint island of Goodland! There is a dock here with a kayak launch, kind of hidden from view and not widely known. No fee to park or launch a kayak (the boat ramp down the road would have cost me $15 and was super busy). The museum is not that spectacular, but interesting. Spent about 10 minutes in there, learned some history). I may or may not have “camped” in the parking lot, as it is open 24 hours. Read moreCool little spot...except for the fact that catfish were the only fish around. Small, tight loading area but lots of parking, friendly little bait shop with beer and live shrimp, well maintained bathrooms, free fishing pier, and far enough from tourists...or much if anyone...
