The park is nice with good trails that are wide and easily walked on. There is the adventure trail loop which is just a little more closed in. Once you get to the loop in the back it's basically a limerock road that is super easy to walk and you can cut it in half by taking the boardwalk that will put you out right by the river. They DO allow bikes AND dogs which is always a struggle to remember which places do. The view of the river is nice and I have spotted dolphins out there on many occasions, I have also seen gators and otters but you'll have to be quick to spot them, usually it's just birds, herons, egrets, ibis and the usual shore birds when you get to the river. In the summer the mosquitoes are bad and the banana spiders are everywhere overhead....it freaks my wife out but they are higher than any mammal I've ever met but just a heads up. Overall it's an awesome place that I like to...
Read moreI really liked it. Not a good place to walk during the rainy season or after a heavy rain cause it coursed through the mangroves, (swamp) It has a clearly defined main trail and a boardwalk that cuts through it, benches and picnic tables scattered about if you just want to sit for awhile and enjoy the view, rest or socialize. bring water, or something to drink on warm days even though a lot of the trail is shady there is no place to purchase food or drink. Please drop all trash in its proper place. Early Walker might need to bring a stick to hold up to clear spider webs. Lol yes I walked into a couple. There is a short trail that does not seem to be travel very often. Not well defined and very overgrown make sure you use insect repellent before choosing this path I walked it and was fine but there are trip hazards lots of roots and overhanging limbs. I loved it. Beautiful...

With nothing to see Big mistake our son had to be held 1 mile by me and another by his mom because he couldn't walk anymore. I suggest to go back the way u came if u have small kids . But really cool adventure and a...
