The air conditioner in our room was broken and we had a horrible first night sleep. Turned the AC down to 60 and was still sweating! We did tell the office the next morning and they did install a new AC. They tried to tell us it was our fault because we froze it up turning it down to 60. If it would’ve frozen up it would’ve had ice all over it and not worked at all! Bottom line they did and it was nice and cool when we returned the next day and slept great! When we went to check out, it was a nightmare. There were six people ahead of us one person at the desk. The attendant left the building at one point while people were standing there waiting to check out. My husband followed her out and she turned around and said may I help you? He said yes I’d like to check out, she said did you leave a deposit? My husband said yes, she said the room would have to be checked and would send someone to check it out. He checked it out and said it was fine, went back to the lobby to check out and the attendant was gone again. We assume while people are checking out, she leaves to go check the room out and then returns to check them out. This takes a while for her to walk the grounds. It would be better served if when someone checks out and if their room needs to be checked before releasing the deposit, she should radio the maintenance person and have them check it out. Don’t leave the lobby with five or six people waiting in line. We finally had to leave because we had an appointment and we gave our keys to the maintenance technician. That process took about 30 minutes and we were late to our event because of it. They advertise a continental breakfast with waffles, there is even waffles pictured on the wall in the eating area. Read moreI stayed there the night prior to Thanksgiving as I just had gotten home from Ukraine that afternoon and needed to sleep and rented a room was charged $100 deposit on top of the the room cost and I check out and here it is almost 2 weeks later and I still haven't received my deposit back well I call today and asked why I haven't received my deposit back and they stated that it was because I smoked in the room which is quite odd considering I've never smoked in my entire life so the fact that they're you know just assuming that I smoked in the room I guess because I asked him if there was any cigarettes or anything or cigarette butts that they had you know located in the room and he said no then they accused me of covering the smoke detector so I guess I will have to dispute the deposit with my financial institution and I will not be returning to this hotel because if they need to make false allegations in order to keep a hundred dollars that's just ridiculous I had stayed there several times before and had not ever had that issue. So unfortunately I'm not going to recommend this place because they steal from you they make false allegations with no evidence to back up their claims they just wanted to keep my deposit and I will make sure that I tell all of my friends and family and associates not to rent a room from this place. The bed was comfortable the water was hot and I slept good the TV didn't work but all in all it wasn't a bad hotel but it bothers me that they kept my deposit without any physical evidence of me actually smoking in this room considering I have never smoked a day in my life. I believe that's not a good way to have repeat customers stealing from them and making false allegations is not good business. Read moreChecked in at 10pm and left. Came back off and on til about 2am. Got in bed with clothes on to just relax and felt like something was crawling on me. So I sat in car for an hour or so. Decided to leave but came bk around 5am and showed employee on duty the bites I had on me and told him about the 2 roaches I killed. I checked out and was told I would get a call from Jay the mngr. Never happened. I called from Friday night until Wednesday still couldn't talk to Jay. They refused to give me owner or corporate info. Even refused to give me the name of the person I talked to on Wednesday which was very rude and ignorant. Said nothing could have bit me bc he had no other complaints. The most ignorant comment I've ever heard. Said head housekeeper didnt see bed bugs or the roaches. I took pic and told him I would show him he still hung up on me. I showed employee the bites. Whoever I spoke with refused to even gear me and clearly stated no refund even though nothing was used in room. And they saw me in my car. The only person that apologized was Jodi I believe her name was nut she assured me I would get a call but never did. I told him I was calling dept of health and professional regulations and he told me to go ahead. He hung up on me multiple times and yelled at me. Said I was supposed to let them know within 30 mins of being there any problems but I left as soon as I got room. Then who knows bed bugs are in bed until u get in it.? I advise anyone not to deal with a shady place like that who doesn't take customers health concerns seriously. Won't give put names or company info or call customers back. Definitely won't refund knowing room wasn't used. And sink faucet was about to come off when I washed hands. Shady and dirty is my opinion. Pay a little more and be satisfied elsewhere. You'll regret it...
